That spot makes it so easy to scout the entire enemy team. Nice thing also is you are high enough that some artillery may either struggle to his, or have a very flat (long) arc.

So I meddled with the maus track file, loaded tankies, and my e100s tracks were red with the error text. I put the backup I made back in, and they're still red.

WoT starts itself up after I turn my monitor on from being asleep. "Okay, guess I'll try a few rounds in my more fun tanks."
Chaffee. A very determined Tiger driver shut down my attempts at fun, so I decided to turn around and try the other side of the map, when suddenly in my zoned out state, a KV-1 appears in front of me. I hit it, it deals 100 damage. "Okay whatever, I'll say sorry and shrug it off, not like I had much health anyway." But the KV-1 doesn't go around the now tracked me. It just stares at me with its gun, and I realize it wants to kill me for dealing 10 damage to it and potentially scratching one of his tracks. My mind is blown by this prospect alone, but that wasn't it.
Unsurprisingly I exploded before my eyes, still tracked, but the killcam centers itself on a nearby friendly T-34, enforcing WoT law on its own terms. Alt-F4. To repeat what I said in the chat: The kind of people this fucking game dig out of the earth make me want to rip my hair out and spew it all across the room with a paper shredder.

Have you tried deleting the track file out of the res_mods folder?

I actually edited the package in the res folder. And I decided to reinstall anyway since my current install folder is filled with unused shit and I don't feel like going through it file by file.
I finally got swinging my tank to land hits while driving parallel to an enemy down, getting at least a kill per game now :D

Drive parallel to a tank while auto aiming to it, tap key to turn away from it, fire, shot lands rather than falling behind.
I can't manual aim for shit while moving so this is immensely helpful

If you keep using autoaim you will lose many fights in the higher tiers

Or... you could just... tap R 3 times, go to the highest possible overhead view zoom and aim a bit ahead for a stabilized shot.
If I remember you playing ArmA II, you're probably already used to the concept of taking potshots at something only a few pixels tall.

Only use it when moving around fast is a priority, and if I don't use autoaim I'll never [I]get[/I] to the higher tiers
Just got 5 kills in a battle where my E-50 was the highest tank.
We lost because a KV-5 and Lowe sat LITERALLY JUST OUTSIDE THE CAP CIRCLE and wondered why the cap thing wasn't going up
I dont quite remember what the SU-85 is like. Was it a paper tank with decent guns?
