well I can say I won't really be using gold ammo now because it's fuckexpensive
but I may or may not try my Type 59 with gold rounds for shiggles
Ugh, everyone is gonna be using gold rounds now. :|
I weep for my IS-7
HA HA
TIME FOR THE OTHER T10 HEAVIES TO KNOW MY E-100'S PAIN!
I'm stuffing all my free-exp away in anticipation of the british meds. Gonna skip the first tiers and jump up to something fun directly
If they do manage silver-bought gold ammo, they should calculate the % of increased penetration and then factor that into new damage values.
Let's say a gun normally has 100 pen, 200 damage. The gold round has 200 pen.
% change: 200%
% damage: 50%
So now, you can buy gold-silver-copper ammo that would have 200 pen, but only 50 damage.
I think you'd see a lot less people using gold if their X guns did less than 300-400. :v:
Let's use a real example: The 122mm M62-T2 found on the IS-8, ST-I and IS-4
Silver Ammo: 440 Damage, 268mm Penetration
Gold Ammo: 440 Damage, 400mm Penetration
New Gold Ammo: 295 Damage, 400mm Penetration
(67% Factor Used; 268/400 = 0.67)
How would you feel about that? Sure, now everyone can penetrate you - but they have a much lower damage with the same Rate of Fire.
[It'd also be good to remove that obnoxious extra-chance-to-fuck-modules Gold Ammo has.]

they all appear to be fun, might aswell go through normally
Free exp should only really be used to turn tanks nonstock.
T92s with credit-gold extra large splash radius ammo
Time to kill ourselves
This game rustles my jimmies so much nowadays.
T92s with credit-gold extra large splash radius ammo

Just realized my system doesn't do shit to gold-HE ammo. So let's use splash radius as the new penetration when it comes to those.
T92's 240mm Sewer Pipe:
Silver Ammo: 2250 Damage, 9.14m Splash
Gold Ammo: 2250 Damage, 13.09m Splash
New Gold Ammo: 1570 Damage, 13.09m Splash
New Gold Ammo 2: 1900 Damage, 13.09m Splash
(69%)
(Second option for whiny baby arty. Percentages between the two. 84.5%)
I like my own idea. :v:
Me and awesomecaek had a team today where 11 out of 15 players got less than 100 exp, most around 30-50. Ended up as a 15-0 loss, I drowned my tank into water near the end of the battle because the team was too shit to play for

I've had games like that, never so many in a row though but that's usually because I lose all faith in humanity after about 4 or 5 games like that and quit to go do something better.
T92s with credit-gold extra large splash radius ammo

And it's perfectly affordable too. 6800credits to nuke any tank completely to shit. I might even buy back the T92 if that bullshit idea goes live.
I think we broke the tanks.

So I think I decrewed him but we had like 5 tanks shooting him and none of them could do damage anywhere.

Drowning is the best way to bail from those retardteams. Saves you repaircosts too.

How?
SPGs should have prem shells stay gold bought.

How about
SPGs shouldn't have gold shells
or even better
SPGs shouldn't exist.
i'm really considering just dropping wot altogether if gold shells can be purchased at a non-ridiculous price.
gold shells should seriously cost like 40 grand a shell honestly.

As soon as I thought of this, I told everyone on TS. They all groaned and said it might just be time to leave WoT. Ugh, I do not want to play World of Gold Arty, World of Arty is bad enough (most tier 9-10 games still have 4-5 per team)
Oh so that's why there's so many posts
awesome
Imagine if they decided to add HESH shells for the british and they could be buyable by credits. Goodbye all crews
They might as well get rid of gold shells at this point. A positive side effect is that tier 10 heavies actually feel like tier 10 heavies.
Then get rid of invisible tanks, dice rolls, and artillery and we will be set.
I'm personally quite excited for this change because it will make all tiers play like old Tier-1 / Tier-2 but that's mostly cause none of the tanks I play have sufficient penetration to penetrate higher tiers frontally (sans driver slits) so it'd just be a pure competitive advantage for me

how do you fix the community?
extermination camps
I am looking at the low tier tanks, specifically the artillery.
If this credit gold ammo goes live, a lot of low tier tanks are going to become literal death machines. Especially those with high rates of fire and accuracy. I am already thinking of the havoc an SU-26 will be able to dish out.
