As someone who's almost done with it - 4000XP away from Pershing - let me say a few things:
Play it like a medium, but a medium with no armor. You can also play it like forward scouting, as long as you're smart enough to pull your dick out when something big shows up.
The 90mm is an amazing gun for a medium and you can pretty much poke it over hills with your gun depression. I found the best goal for the T20 is to harass stuff bigger than you (shoot and scoot) or (safely) engage targets you know you can win. It may be speedy, but brawling/strafing is a bad idea without back up. That said, it is fast enough that a non-interested target could easily be flanked or thrown for a loop while your (non-existent) team finishes him off.
It's fine to play it aggressive - just play it smart and back off when something with a bigger dick shows up. :v:

I actually found it really enjoyable - almost more so than the Panther. I never picked it up at first because I went "Ew" at the armor stats. Turned out to be a lot of fun, but I still may hold off on the Pershing.
The fact that you have almost no armor is kind of liberating at times because you know you have to rely on your agility and luck.

Thats one reason I play lights. Any hit you receive won't really be affected by RNG, where on heavier tanks you can get penetrated where they shouldn't be able to penetrate. Speed and agility is also the only form of protection that remains constant regardless of tiers.

Grinding mine right now. It's rather frustrating. If in a VII battle everything is groovy, but add a few VIII's and it gets ugly. If I see a whole team of IX+ I just load HE and hope to track em before I'm razorblades.

M8A1 was better...
Don't Play the T25/2 like a TD. Or like the Hellcat. Or like anything really. My win rate with it right now is 41%. Mostly because stock it's ugly and because I can't figure out how to play it.
My best success is when I just harass targets and stay in cover or scoot after the shoot. The gun is lazor accurate so I can keep a big target tracked while my team takes him out. Also it's a good counter scout. I can pick of scouts before they kill my arty.
However, most of the time I don't have a team that will shoot the IS-8 I've keept tracked and stationary for 60 seconds, nor do I have ary that has the brains to move after they've been spotted.
If WG took 20pts off the damage and added 20pts of pen I would love this tank.
Oh gosh, I would love to give your post a hundred of pessimistics, but there's no rating like that.

People were telling me I won't like the T1 HT, but I loved it. I don't think it'll be the same in this case.
Re-bought the m10 because I always loved it and the hellcat wasn't my thing.
Just got Boelter's medal in the godamn jadgpanzer 4.

It should be pessimistic. I think all posts are, that's why there isn't a rating. It's only rare that one is optimistic. :v:
However, I'm not saying that you won't have better results than me. Hell, I'm a shit player. If I knew how to play I'd do better than 41%

Well, I still have over 1M of cash ahead of me, so it's still going to take some time until I get it and attempt to do anything good with it.
