Just remember, you need free space above 300MB.
These wads are just the graphics and levels. Those weapons just replace the weapon sprites of normal doom weapons. Enemies are just doom ones with new sprites. Maps are just recreations of games' maps with no real 3d gameplay. N64 goldeneye =/= doom with new skins.
Note: posting Doom IWAD = WAREZ

Why didn't the author of that other megathread of Doom didn't got banned then?
Because it's so old alot of sites handle it as abadonware.

I have no idea, but it doesn't make it legal. You can buy doom from Id software. Doom soure code is free, but doom resources are not.

The source code CONTAINS the resources >.>
SO WHY DO YOU WANT TO SCREW OUR FUN GENTLEMAN?
Ok, sorry i don't want to turn this into flamewar and/or ruin your fun. Many doom community furums such as Newdoom or Doomword consider downloading main wads illegal. That's why there is projects like Freedoom. But if I would download let's say quake is it warez?

It's not like someone will arrest us for just laying an eye on it.

Right, back on topic.
Will I need to download Doom DS first?
Will this work with an M3 Real?
How good is the sound?

You don't need it. It's included.
It should work on M3 Real.
Dunno, I play with mute for less battery loss.

You can just buy a bigger capacity battery..
And beside the DS's battery life is quite good already, there's no point turning off the sound just to gain 10 more minutes of gaming. (And it's not like you can't recharge while playing..)
Also, anybody here a fan of Starcraft?
Well there's a homebrew currently being made.

(A demo is available)
If you have a Symbian OS mobile you can play thoose files :)

I don't have a Nintendo Screwdriver to change it. My DS's battery life is screwed...
Is this DLDI patchable to run on my GNM card?
Erm, this looks epic and I have a DS, but I've heard about homebrfew and "bricking" and all that crap. Also, how do you get it on to your DS, do you buy a blank card or something?

I don't think you could brick the DS by putting in a DS card with custom games on it.
Can you even brick a DS?

You don't need to anymore. They make flashcarts that fit into slot-1 of the unit and don't require any flashing to play. You don't even void the warranty.
Me, I'm a bit more oldskool. I have an old DS with a flashed CMOS and a SuperCard that fits into slot-2
Most of these things take SD-mini or SD-micro flash cards, which you can buy at Best Buy or whatever. You just need an SD card reader for your computer.
Looks awfully hard to aim.

Yes. I was at risk of doing so when I flashed the CMOS on my DS.
Flashing the CMOS allowed me to run any DS or GBA code from slot-2. (The slot dedicated for GBA games.)
2Gb SD card + Superkey + Supercard SD :v:
You kids and your R4's..
Very nice, especially the video. Why do I say that? 1:13- CROTCH SHOT!!!
But yeah, I think that homebrew on any platform is awesome. Especially good stuff, like this...
Nice job, can't wait to play these on my flashcard.
Homebrew/Custom wads are graphical modifacations of games, or maps for the HL1 engine.
In GoldSrc, .wad files are textures. Maps are .bsp
I asked before, but nobody seemed to care:
Is this DLDI patchable to run on my GNM card?
