South Korea has won the resistance war
Nice one, Korea. That'll make our job easier.
To keep people up to date: We are currently trying to figure out a way to get us into Korea without everything going horribly wrong. As mentioned before.. new players should now start in Korea. It will make things easier once we all come over. [editline]11th April 2012[/editline] And don't wory. Once the plan comes together no participating Facepuncher will be left behind.
Signed up, playing as EndangeredHuman. Currently in Lithuania (Scientist2's post came a bit late!)
fuck i am in lithuania
Drat, if only I had more monies, I could buy some food and get my last bits of xp from fighting and level up.

At any rate, we're making a bit of progress. TO all Lithuanians Keep at it, being in Lithuania is not bad, that's the team that has to kickstart the Korean economy. Nevertheless, new players should preferably go to Korea.
I'm not a Lithuanian and i think i will make my move to Korea now. I need to try and get into the system before i have the money to make a company.
But we need a leader, backed up by a core of ministers/advisors/whatevers.
I agree with this. In all previous FP efforts in eRep, there was always one person who was a clear leader, and team of advisors. What I propose is a system like Leader - Still up for debate. I am willing to do it, but do not want to impose. Rather we should have nominations and a vote. + Secondary Leader (VP) Ambassador to Korea and Diplomatic Affairs - DVH - Communicates with Korean Officials, and relays the information back to the rest of us. Maintains FP approval rating. Once established in Korea, has a large role in international affairs. + Understudy position. Apply to DVH Financial Manager - Scientist2 - Keeps a log of expenditures, and oversees spending on all expeditions. + Understudy position. Apply to Scientist2 Head of Education - Hidole555 - In charge of organizing new players, helping them learn the game, supplying moving tickets and food as needed, and keeping track of the new recruits. + Understudy position. Apply to Hidole555 + Your going to need more than one understudy for this position, as its a huge burden. General of Military Affairs - This position does nothing until we are established. Fairly self explanatory. +Free to appoint Captains and make squads as needed. Party President/Press and Propaganda - I would be interested in doing this, if nobody minds. I've organized elections before for 2 different parties, one of which being a FP party. + Understudy position New Postions Created as needed [editline]11th April 2012[/editline]
I'm not a Lithuanian and i think i will make my move to Korea now. Over half our population has to wait before they can even become a citizen.
I think my post should be changed to a more general diplomacy thingmajig. Because after Korea we also need to get into diplomatic stuff, I suppose.
I think my post should be changed to a more general diplomacy thingmajig. Because after Korea we also need to get into diplomatic stuff, I suppose.
Fix'd
Do we have anyone in Lithuania that can set up a company that pays higher than average wages so we can maximise our day to day purchases of food and weapons to level up faster?
Do we have anyone in Lithuania that can set up a company that pays higher than average wages so we can maximise our day to day purchases of food and weapons to level up faster?
You have a month, you dont have to worry too much about your level. Typically FP companies give slave wages to save money for whatever crazy scheme we've come up with. [editline]11th April 2012[/editline] DVH, Does Korea have an IRC channel?
Do we have anyone in Lithuania that can set up a company that pays higher than average wages so we can maximise our day to day purchases of food and weapons to level up faster?
I don't think so, after level 7 levels don't matter as much anyway. And a company needs to make a profit, something that we intend to do with slave labour. [editline]11th April 2012[/editline]
DVH, Does Korea have an IRC channel?
Yes they do, #e-sim.sk @ irc.Rizon.net
Yes they do, #e-sim.sk @ irc.Rizon.net
And an official forum?
And an official forum?
Nope, but they plan on making one.

Either way, I think that's it for diplomacy for today. Prez's most likely gone to bed.
Why the hell did you tell us Lithuania in the first place? Over half our population has to wait before they can even become a citizen.
This was suggested when we didn't know South Korea had a hatred against LT. It was chosen because LT gives the highest pays and has the cheapest market. The perfect newbie area. Don't worry about SK's current posture against LT. We are talking with their officials to give LT migrants the green light. As i said before, no facepuncher will be left behind. Besides.. We wouldn't be strong enough to do anything right now. The majority of our community hasn't even reached level 7 which means they can't join a political party yet. [editline]11th April 2012[/editline]
Either way, I think that's it for diplomacy for today. Why have we been painting the SK leader as some evil dictator? From my point of view, the SK government is just a close-knit group. They recognize they aren't as strong as Russia or Indonesia and so their apprehensiveness is perfectly understandable. Not liking the video in the OP, but that's just my opinion. Updated the list.

But negociations have pretty much stopped for today, so we're stuck with what I've PMed you.

And now for something completely different. I don't need anyone right now, but once we've settled in Korea, I'd like one or two helpers to handle diplomacy with me. You just need at least a decent grasp of the English language (not asking for nativity, being Dutch myself) and you need to be able to convince people well. If you're interested, please PM me.
DVH, you should PM me the convo. And from what I understand the current prez is a good guy, just scared of outsiders threatening his power. [editline]11th April 2012[/editline]
I gotta do some IRL work, but when I come back I'll discuss his demands more and get the Ministry of Education started.
First thing that you should do (and I'm sure your aware of this) is to write a good "first days tutorial" for the OP.
DVH, you should PM me the convo. And from what I understand the current prez is a good guy, just scared of outsiders threatening his power.
Done. And yeah, that's my general idea too, added with that he doesn't have the best interests of Korea in mind, but that might just be me.

Yeah we should join together with the current eSK administration(assuming they aren't complete tossers) that way we will be able to better the glory of Best Korea together, as a larger group than just us.
http://e-sim.org/article.html?id=23862 What does NAP stand for?
http://e-sim.org/article.html?id=23862 What does NAP stand for?
Non-Agression Pact. Basically something we will revoke instantly ;).
I joined to help our cause.
Working on the guides right now. The Ministry of Education states this: Facepunchers in Lithuania (and other countries besides SK): Your goal is training, fighting, and money making. I propose a Dollar-a-day plan. Each day a FPer in Lithuania works, they will save 1 Dollar of their wage. In the coming days, that means by the time we are ready to migrate to SK each FPer will have around 20-30 dollars. These will then be converted to Gold. Meaning each FPer will gain 1-1.5 Gold Bars. Which can then either be used to start new companies if we haven't made them by that time or converted to South Korean money to boost their economy. Facepunchers in South Korea: Where Lithuania meets our economic needs, you shall meet our political needs. Your goal is training, fighting, and influence. Be a happy participant in the Korean economy. If you are contacted for joining a political office, notify us first and we'll probably be perfectly fine letting you have it. Do NOT start any drama/controversy and do NOT mention Facepunch.
