In eRep, they broke the economy by giving everyone a small company, enough to make food for yourself. And the game is getting so big, its hard for people to get involved like they used to. They took out gifts and houses, oil and diamonds, and basically are turning it into a facebook game. I suppose it isnt all that bad, but it just isn't quite the same.
Oh and the military aspect of things is too large. You can eat 500 hp of food every day plus and additional 100 hp per hour. This was to make the food economy relevant again, but also promotes people to fight and fight, and the politics are just kinda fading out of the game.

If you're in Lithuania (or just outside of Korea) save up a dollar each day so when you transfer over you can use that to help FP get its projects going.

Sort of. This method doesn't require Facepunch to have a company yet it still allows us to save up for companies/future projects etc. and allows us to still advance in xp at a steady rate.. The money will then be turned into gold bars as Lithuanian money will be worthless to us upon the migration to South Korea.

Well with the slave labour, we are actually more efficient, because not only are we keeping a portion of the income, its already centralized for us, and on top of that, we can turn the items for a profit.
The dollar-a-day plan sounds like a great idea to raise some capital if everyone is dedicated to it.
BTW i didnt really say it but in-game I am Abdul Allah and I am in Lithuania so I'll just be saving up money/building skills from that end til I can come to Korea.

Wait, I was reading the guide in the OP, and I see how bad Koreas economy is compared to Lithuania. D1 I bought over 40 q1 and like 5 q5 food. With a base salary of 7.31 LTL before taxes, and then take of 0.7 for income tax = 6.6ish LTL, and a price of food at 0.26, that is a lot more than the 8-10 q1 food you describe (and I dont even see offers that gracious right now on the market). Maybe we should consider having people in Lithuania financially support people in Korea, because we make more than we need (on a q1 food diet) while they are somewhat poor.

Well since nobody confirmed or denied what was going on, I don't really want to approve understudies, and I didn't see anyone else respond to your request. If being a publicist is your thing and you really want to take charge, you can always also do war propaganda, and work with the military. Regardless if you get that position, I am sure I can find something that tickles your fancy (I too enjoy politics and writing about them).

edit: Just realized the buy->sell are reversed so back to the drawing board.
These are just straight ratios for the -best- rates of each... some some might only be trading .01 gold worth at those amounts, but I will change it up to account for that tommorow.

One of the main reasons we sent people to Lithuania.
I'm almost level 7 myself, so the next ingame day. which will happen in about 12 hours, Scientist should see the first wave of gold. By then or at least the day after that, Scientist2 should be receiving a shitton of gold that ought to be used to make at least a Food company and then a Grain one to supply it more easily/reliably. Then it should be easy to implement the slave labor and get the Korean FPers the food they need.
Plus I'm not sure how the big brother idea would work out. We're already saving dollars for a long term money bomb and getting each FPer outside Korea to count out a sum to send to Korea everyday in addition to that doesn't seem very practical(is that the right word?) to me.
I also don't have any understudies/advisers/interns yet.
