I'm not saying to undercut lithuania as a whole.
I'm saying to undercut ONE lithuanian businessman that is in Korea.
This ONE Lithuanian businessman controls the entire food market here. I'm saying to undercut this ONE lithuanian guy in KOREA.
You really have no fucking clue what I'm even talking about so I'm just going to be quiet now.
But if it's located in Korea, it pays taxes to Korea, no?
I believe that the point being made is to have a facepuncher create a business, sell the produce cheaply while maintaining a profit and use said profits for the "Korean offensive", and that if the business steals business from others, it would only benefit everyone involved due to the money staying in Korea and not being taken by a foreign businessman.
To put this PTO thing in the grave, imagine the long term repercussions if we just walked in and took over.
Every Korean in the country will see us as invaders, and with a civil war module coming up and the country ruled by a hardcore MU, we'd be completely screwed.
We simply have to rely on being able to persuade the Korean Congress that we come only for the good of Korea. Put delusions of grandeur out of your mind. We are trying to fix Korea, not control it.
That being said, if any FPer manages to make it into congress that makes everything all the more easier.
exactly, also we would offer cheaper prices bettering the people in korea
Im not saying we shouldnt provide a better food market, but we should not use that as a means to demand political favors, which is what Eltro102 is suggesting.

either that or we could take up more than 66% of the population of korea so they couldnt make civil war (i think that's ~100 people)
Also, since monkey11 already assigned us into positions in this operation, obviously he should be President as he has experience in this before and knows how to handle things with a touch of delicacy.

We are not going to be taking over anything by force. If we make it into office legitimately that's ok; but a stubborn President and an unaware congress are small obstacles that can be overcome with a carefully planned and presented explanation.

not really what im saying is that if we control the food market, food being a resource needed for war, we would be in a great position of power, where we can help the government crush the resistance but not only that we would make an immense profit from wars which korea fights in whilst helping them

I'm fine with that. I don't have the time to be online 24/7 at the moment.

That isnt how I, nor anyone else here want to do things. Let alone having 100 active citizens is unrealistic.
If you want to go with your crazy schemes, take it elsewhere please and dont associate it with us.

It's more a position of profit rather than power. Making demands just because we come across a monopoly is not our way. The purpose of FP providing cheap food is so Koreans and Facepunchers alike can spend less on food and more on other things like Gifts (another thing we will try to provide cheaply) and Weapons (Weapons and Iron are low priority to make companies for. Let's focus on Food, Gifts, Grain, and Diamonds, first [possibly in that order])

I am honored to hold the position.
If you could update the OP, and make it clear that new member should add everyone who as a position thus far. Keeping us tight nit will help retain players.

The idea has always been to establish a business in which we work for slave wages to build up he economy.

A little harsh?
[editline]12th April 2012[/editline]
New day starting!
go go go
People in Lithuania (and any other country with strong currency to gold conversion), remember the Dollar-a-Day plan.
Good acronym for it: DaD
A little harsh?
I did not intend that as harsh. If he wants to manipulate a market, feel free to, but if he was to do that in SK while we are trying to lend a helping hand to Korea, it will undoubtably hurt our progress. People do not like to be manipulated. And if he waves a FP flag as he trashes Peru or something, it does nothing but hurt our reputation.
And he was intending on starting a resistance war (which btw cannot happen in the mechanics of the game if it is the same as eRep), only to help fight it off. It's like the D.E.N.N.I.S. system for countries.
So what will our glorious future party be called?

Both major FP political parties in eRep have had the same name. FSDP or Federal Social Democrat Party. The party logo the Korean episode was:

Thoughts? I am for reusing the name/logo personally.
LEVEL 7!
South Korean Facepunching Party sounds pretty good, but that's pretty unlikely to happen.
South Korean Facepunching Party sounds pretty good, but that's pretty unlikely to happen.
Typically its best to keep Facepunch out of the party, so that way we can extend our arms to the rest of the community so that we are not viewed as some private elitist club, or as a PTO.
[editline]12th April 2012[/editline]
Lol, seeing that logo reminds me of how absurd our start in Korea was, and how we had Operation Spiderman.

i like the name and the emblem, however, isn't it dangerous to use this? Won't ex e-republik members recognise it and go search for this thread ?

Are there many ex-eRepublik members in e-sim Korea? We were incredibly well recepted in Korea, and I doubt many would remember us from Germany. I doubt anyone would care enough to recognize it, but we did save Germany from Sweden, and fought the goons in Korea.
I only need 2 more gold to start a company in North Chungcheongchangchangchongching.....etc. They have a high yield diamond mine there, so i might build a company there to supply us with flying tickets. Obviously i will do my best to only have facepunchers working there.

Just depleted my food limit, have no more money to buy gifts.

I'll send you some of my own money so you can buy gifts.

I think either food or gifts is a higher priority than moving tickets. Everyone should have 2 moving tickets to get to Korea already, right?
And I dont think it would hurt us at all to use FSDP.
