It's not a law for people to do that, but it's greatly appreciated in favor of the cause! [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] Just try to stick with the plan in the OP for now. I understand that at times the game isn't as intriguing as when the world is aflame but to keep yourself entertained you should try to keep up with what's happening in the (game)world. [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] Does anyone know of a good theme for me to put in the OP? I was thinking of hell march (red alert 1) but that might give the impression that we are just preparing to fuck shit up. (Which at some extend might be true in the future. War with other country's is imminent) [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] Hmm.. What do you guys think.. Should i upgrade the grain and food company to quality level 2 ? It would give us a great advantage over the competing market. I think we'd be the only producer above level 1.
I'd say do it. It'll help us boost our economy, and thus Korea's. (North) Korean Anthem?
I'd say do it. It'll help us boost our economy, and thus Korea's. (North) Korean Anthem?
Done. Yeah i was thinking of that but i'm not sure... [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] The Korean and North Korean themes are not really cool. Maybe the Russian theme ? [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] The first word in the first sentence is Russia though... that kind of ruins it.

Wikipedia just told me this song is from a Norwegian group! ( I thought it was made by Americans:tinfoil:) They are really good too! This is a better version of the video you posted. [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] Fuck it. This video is awesome enough to be this threads theme.
words
Noticed that one just after I posted, but couldn't be arsed to change it. But more on topic, 1 congress member has replied. [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] Everyone in Lithuania, vote on the referendum for 5 extra XPs.
Everyone over level 7, that is. So, when exactly are we going to mass into SK from Lithuania? I I thought it would be 30 days but why exactly is that time limit set?
I've fought, trained, worked and pushed my way through. After 3 days of playing, I left myself with savings of 3LTL (that's what we're meant to be doing right, a ltl a day?). What can I do to push my way towards level 7, or do I just have to wait?
Everyone over level 7, that is. So, when exactly are we going to mass into SK from Lithuania? But I'm doing my part to provide open arms and a nice glass of soju (Or banana milk if you're too young) whan we're able to migrate.

What I was doing was to just forget about weapons and check the job market every day for a btter paying job. From that I only bought the highest QL food, saved none, and fought. IT still took me 4 days. Also, berserk awards 5 xp, which means less clicking. [editline]13th April 2012[/editline]
How?
Level 7+ only I'm afraid :(.
I think that was timmyvos. I recommend as another finance official whoever made that chart with the currency exchange rates a few pages back. I think it was Eltro102 but I'm not entirely sure as for some reason I can't find the post again. :(
That was my post HERE (I edited out the chart so people wouldn't get confused)
I got out a piece of graph paper and a calculator. Here are the preliminary results with 15-20 minute old data: edit: Just realized the buy->sell are reversed so back to the drawing board. These are just straight ratios for the -best- rates of each... some some might only be trading .01 gold worth at those amounts, but I will change it up to account for that tommorow.
I'm working on a new system to find currency spread profit based on amount. It might need a decent sized pool of gold , but should net decent profit. I made 0.22 Gold that day I posted ( starting with 0.49 ... pre Level 7 , that isn't all that bad) I'm interested in assisting whoever decides to be in charge of finance. edit:
tekgen - zyros
and yes I know there is a tekgen but I told them I have nothing to do with it because I typed the wrong email by 1 char
I am playing. y name is the same there as here, Runar. Currently with Swedish citizenship, living in Korea, has applied for Korean citizenship. Wee.

I do, however, feel that this is something that the majority of our player base should decide on. It's basically everybodys money we are talking about.

The main concern in it is that it could be considered as gambling while companies offer a pretty safe way of producing money. [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] If for some reason the gold market suddenly crashes we could lose a lot of money. Considering 1 gold bar is currently worth about 25 Korean units.

[editline]13th April 2012[/editline] If for some reason the gold market suddenly crashes we could lose a lot of money. Of course, that can be used for our benefit.
So wait, what's the plan with employment in Korea now? Are we staying in other companies to sap pay like someone said earlier or are we still all going to work at Glorious food/grains? And, just because I'm curious, do we have any plans for what we're doing after Korea's liberated?
And there's also the fact of Korean money flowing in once Lithupunch comes in, causing inflation (I think, economics teacher save me). When I buy currency X I already know exactly how much currency Y and then gold I will get in return. edit: I'm a little busy today but the next two days I'll look into currency monopolizing too (buying up all lower offers ... needs LOTS of GOLD/KRW) for a long run plan (we are talking >100 Gold)
Should I move to Korea after reaching level 7 or stay in Lithuania and make money?
Inflation is mainly caused by money printing (in other words: Paper that is not backed by a valuable item)
Let me explain my thoughts. LEt's assume the Korean government does the wisest thing the can. If FP all joins in at once, there will be a lot of gold getting turned into K$, causing gold>K$ conversion rates to go down (the K$ you get per gold will go down) as people try to outbid others. The Korean Goverment will most likely print extra money, causing the Gold>K$ conversion rate to go up again. If everyone's hunger for K$ gets satisfied, there will be a lot of money in circulation, causing prices to rise since every K$ is worth less, and thus causing salaries to rise with them because people like to keep their spending power up. Not that it's nessecarily a bad thing, but we can speculate on it. Oh, this is done just by me remembering stuff from class, so it might be faulty.

Our best bet would be to collect data for a time then use econometrics and regressional analysis to determine statistically provable profitable actions. edit: Of course there is a direct relation between money supply growth (printing) and long-term inflation , but we are also in a unique position because the majority of people coming into the country are our people therefore we can stop the outbidding by pooling our gold all at once then buying out the KRW. I want to point out we should only be looking to profit from other koreans so that we can establish a dominant position in the Korea Market (so we offer a unified front) .. but our long term goal is to manipulate the global market so that korea has a dominate position there. This can be done with agents in foreign countries being sent / receiving money and manipulating the goods/company markets.

Anything after that is pure speculation. But yeah, the thing you said would be the best to bet your money onto.
I need to slow down about this game. I had a dream where this thread was discovered and exposed by a newspaper and by coincidence my school had an assembly about Korea :ohdear: [editline]13th April 2012[/editline]
uh oh
They haven't changed it yet?!
Everyone over level 7, that is. So, when exactly are we going to mass into SK from Lithuania? I I thought it would be 30 days but why exactly is that time limit set?
don't worry about it, i should have a company that you guys can work in a few more days.
Right now there is only 20.9 Gold worth of KRW (=729.4) so there probably wouldn't be enough to support the exodus, but it is a start. Most FP'ers coming to the country need food for their xp, not KRW (just need KRW to get food). If we have a food company OR if we have a food buying agent buying from brazil (they offer food at ~0.01 gold ea compared to lithuania which is ~0.02) , they buy mass amounts of food and then post it on the korea markets, we didn't buy KRW for it so the inflation doesn't kick in. edit : and the koreans almost pay 0.028 Gold per Q1 Food right now . Profitable action ... Buy brazil currency BRL or some other low cost currency , buy lots of food , sell it on korea market for 0.8 on the dollar (undercutting all the comps. there) ... we still all buy from scientist2 at whatever he sets (he needs to set price = cost) to keep his company running well and people paid. But essentially the company should be there for people to turn their 1 work turn a day into the amount of food they produce (their productivity -> wage -> wage buys food they made) or we can pay them nothing and give them the food each day (more of a hassle though but avoids tax)
