No because we never gave the money, calling the request for a donation "outrageous" when we didn't really know the low value of gold in this game. It may seem bad to even consider a forcefully getting our guys into Korea, but I think we should be prepared to do it if all other routes become closed to us.

He wasn't reaching out, I was with my list of people. But he had a wall with a hole in it, and if I wanted to reach out further, I had to pay 10 gold. I declined, because 10 gold at the time was a lot, and because I didn't want to pay for essentially a favour. There was no sign of paying for the right to get in, just to let me give a list of people that might or might not get in then. He was fully capable after that donation of demanding more, since only the list was paid for. TL;DR: 10 was only for list, if paid still not sure if pass. We should have at least sort of a plan on what to do if we reach an absolute stalemate, but we shouldn't execute those plans until we are absolutely sure no other option will succeed, and I think it's way too early for that.
4 more exp and then I'm level 7!

One side has to give in and it's probably not going to be the established government.
If Israel will be oppressed by Turkey, and they will be our next target, I can be the contact :v:
If we want the Koreans to trust us what does it say when we don't even trust them? We should be able to come to mutually beneficial negotiations regarding entry into the country. It doesn't mean we don't trust the Koreans to have a contingency set up in case negotiations fail. That's called foresight, or good planning.
If we want the Koreans to trust us what does it say when we don't even trust them?
I will have to investigate this myself, but to be sure you are not a PTOer, you have to donate 10 G to the Org, before I can give you such a job...
His mail in which he wanted me to spend gold. He clearly stated that if we give him gold, he can give me "such a job" i.e. Making a list. Nothing is said about letting the people on the list in, and there would most likely be more concessions to be made had I demanded to be let in.
We need an actual ambassador. Preferably someone with South Korean citizenship. We need to actually start negotiating with these people in a constructive manner.
And I am level 7, sweet. Also, thanks for the Q5 food Tekgen, I hope you won't mind if I'll give it to one of our koreans.
We need an actual ambassador. Preferably someone with South Korean citizenship. I was, but due to a certain article my name has been universally associated with PTOs in the SK congress.
I have 110 gold pluse 500 rubles (20 ruble is 1 gold) :v:
Monkey's already on it. I was, but due to a certain article my name has been universally associated with PTOs in the SK congress.
Ok, cool.
Ok, cool.
Right now, we are having a brief moment of recuperation, so we are not just berating the president with ambassador after ambassador. In the mean time, I am trying to contact Korean citizens, who were also Koreans in eRep, seeing if I can not illuminate our intentions to them. [editline]16th April 2012[/editline]
Alrighty I'm signed up and my user name is kubisiak. I have some previous experience with monkey11 in erep eSK and eGermany.
Glad to have you o7

To the Koreans, we're just trying to let a bunch of foreigners into their country, which, because of their low native population, could potentially pose a serious threat, hence the PTO suspicion.

To the Koreans, we're just trying to let a bunch of foreigners into their country, which, because of their low native population, could potentially pose a serious threat, hence the PTO suspicion.
We are more than a threat, they have at most 50 level 7's and above (voters), some of which are ours now. The rest are members of that EF military unit. So it is basically a military controlled/manipulated country, so I don't see them wanting extra people coming in and diluting their voting power (which is currently quite high). HOWEVER, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try, and of course we should prepare contingencies, but lets not be too quick to act on them. edit: We have 3 Fpers able to vote in SK right now, if our level 6's SKers accept my contracts , we will have 10 voters by tommorow, and 20 in 2 days. 5 have already accepted, so we are pretty much guaranteed 8 in 2 days time. edit2: If they refuse us over and over, and you STILL want to be friendly and show we are not a PTO, we could make an FP party (obviously called something else) the day before congress elections, have all of our SKers join it, and then NOT RUN OR NOMINATE ANYBODY and deliberately point out that we could have if we wanted to. I think this would show our intentions better than anything, and we would be negotiating from a position of power (whereas right now, they have all the ability to ignore us entirely). The only question is whether you want to try that this upcoming election (25th) or next month.
We've got 23 members 5 and up in SK. Way to go! So yeah tek, that's a pretty high percentage.
We've got 23 members 5 and up in SK. Way to go! Too bad SK doesn't have any battles right now. edit: Nevermind, they do have battles, maybe I'll start donating tickets as well.
Quick question: are houses consumed when they're used?
Quick question: are houses consumed when they're used?
http://wiki.e-sim.org/index.php/House they just sit in your inventory.
there are two fights which SK's can fight in right now. also thanks to the 10 Q5 foods, i managed to go up 2 ranks to staff sergeant.

This is why we shouldn't have cartoons mixed up with politics, because this will happen. In unrelated news, I now have the urge to stab something with a screwdriver. A tri-wing, to be excact.

Hello again gents. Welcome aboard.
I would like to invest my gold in the stock market when it gets added, if it's not too long.
I would like to invest my gold in the stock market when it gets added, if it's not too long.
I was thinking that too, if we work together we could probably manipulate the market.
