I noticed that food prices had crashed, that was your doing?
I would assume it was, considering I set a sufficient quantity low enough to make people with bigger amounts try and undercut me. Check out the Q1 gift market in LTL right now, it was 0.42 yesterday, now its down to 0.39LTL, and it only took 500 Gifts!
Some reading material to mull over. It concerns the intricacies of Political Parties in this game. Part I: http://e-sim.org/article.html?id=22771 Part II: http://e-sim.org/article.html?id=25270
Wasn't Freakie going to be the head of our own little newspaper once we get him into the country?
We need more than one newspaper silly. In fact once we are on our feet, I encourage everyone to get a newspaper to remain an active part of the community.
sent the boss man 12 gold.
So when all of you guys abroad can switch citizenship are you going to filter over slowly or as fast as you can. [editline]19th April 2012[/editline] Also is there any political party in SK we should be applying to?
Reached level seven and paid back that debt. Woo!
Tekgen, i noticed you've been helping out a lot of players in need. I'm going to send you a little 80 q3 FP produced breads to slightly lighten your burden.

South Korea was unable to take Jeolla. They should've focused on Chuncheon first IMO.
South Korea was unable to take Jeolla. Yeah I noticed that, might be they don't want Indonesia invading them again.
Alllllllrighty then, signed up as Fat Tom Just tried to help fight in Jeolla, critted that bastard with a whopping 90 damage, you're welcome.

And there is no party that holds any significance to us.

Us lithuanians will have to wait for citizenship anyways. Shouldn't we get a couple congressmen in ? I believe once you are in congress, you can still change citizenship (if that even makes sense). @scientist2, I distributed most of the food to active <7 members.

I have a whole list of Lithuanians who responded to the pulse check I did, making finding the active ones less of a guessing game. I'll send it over now in case you ever need it.

I'll send you batches more oftenly. I sell most of the food we produce in Holland. This way i get Dutch money which i can trade in for gold and then convert to South Korean currency which i then use to pay the South Korean Wages. Funneling money into our economy was never this easy.
Just a reminder for you guys to remember to be careful what you say in here, this thread is the fifth search response searching google for "e-sim south korea" and the third response for "e-sim south korea PTO". It may be a matter of time before they suspect we are forum originated and attempt to search/find the thread and it won't be too hard.

AFAIK we are trying to get some men into congress. And if we aren't, we should.
That won't be such a stretch, if we weren't not contacting them. AFAIK we are trying to get some men into congress. And if we aren't, we should.
I still see our way in through negotiation, such as the draft monkey mentioned earlier. We should try to get ourselves more acquainted with the functions of government first as congressman do more than just allow people in. I say we organize to convince the government, something that is already underway, and treat them as an ally, not an obstacle. The only thing we need is for the rest of us willing to help to get in. After that, there's not much else the government can do for us, rendering us having congressmen of our own uneccesary. The situation will become purely economical as we continue work on the Korean economy.
Great job, Scientist2! Only one other person other than you selling food!
In the end we may have numerical superiority, thus slowly we could take over if we wanted too, but that isn't the point of our mission. The point is to rise Korea to the heights of glory as much as we can and that entails uniting with the current Koreans in order to achieve that because united we are strong.

I still have some left but I'm busy IRL today so I won't have time till later to distribute it. We currently make up 24% of their voters. In a few days the level 6's will level and that number will rise to almost 36%. I agree we should be as peaceful as possible, but if our membership keeps increasing, eventually it will become a predominately FP country. I'm not saying that justifies taking over, and I'm not saying we should. However, if it turns out that the Korean Gov't is full of a Military Unit just using Korea for their own personal little club, and do not wish for Korea to achieve GLORY , then I see no need to take them into consideration, as they have no ability to stop us (once we have majority of congress, we can always let more of our people in then they can of theirs, thereby always ensuring our dominance). An effective peaceful negotiation could perhaps be made around this fact. If we show that we could take over without them stopping us, but will not do so unless they force us to, perhaps they'll see our intentions are peaceful. On the other hand, giving them an ultimatum before congress such as 'Agree to let us in or we will run in congress and win against you' may prompt them to feel threatened, prompting them to lie to us saying they will, then allowing more of their friends into the country only so that they stand a better chance. So I'm not sure if we should show our full hand or not. and Hidole, you can probably take me off or put me on the bottom of that list. I'm happy in LTL until all our other members are through because their market trades in high volumes and as an LTL'er I don't pay import tax (it would cripple my sales otherwise). I can always join a bit later after I've made mad $$$.
I highly doubt that the MU is using Korea. Almost every country in the game has members in a military unit in power. That doesn't mean they rule with an iron fist. If they did, there would be plenty of Newspapers in protest as they are easy to make and produce. From my perspective, they want Korea to prosper, but they are well aware of their country's relative weakness and must have used every diplomatic trick in the book to get back those regions and avoid complete annihilation. Their allies are few and weak so there is no possibility they got them back through military might alone. Showing any signs of relative threat is a bad idea. Pointing out that we could easily take over but choose not to sounds just like an argument an Indonesian or Russian would make. To tie a dagger over their heads would make things worse. It's better to show that we are sincere in our desire to only help Korea.
HEY GUYS. I have a friend playing e-sim since day 3. He is in Israel, but he can be a HUGE asset to us. Here's a picture of what he has: IGN is Tom Kafir.

Of course it can be worded politely enough to not imply a threat: 'We have lithuanians eager to help, and South Koreans already ready to fight, all to help further our mutual cause of a greater and stronger Korea, help us to help you in this endeavor. We wish to achieve this through cooperation instead of contempt, what say you?' I'm saying one of the end-games in this negotiation involves a direct ultimatum, so that it doesn't come to that , until then lets use all the flowery jargon we possibly can :v:
He also gave me 10 q5 good and 10 q5 gifts, so I will probably level up today, and get to keep more money towards the "dollar-a-day" plan. [editline]20th April 2012[/editline] Scratch that, but I'm really close, and halfway to Master Sergeant though.
