Afraid of Monsters.
Rogue Warrior, the game itself is an horror seriously though, any resident evil, any Fatal Frame.......
I had to read your list four different times. How have you NOT played Resident Evil 4?!
If you're ever gonna play Resident Evil 4, Don't shoot the fish in the small lake.. You'll see what I mean :ohdear:
Afraid of Monsters.
How dare you propose such a thing.
Resident Evil 2 (best RE game imo) Condemned 2 (if you own a PS3/X360)
If OP has a PS3 then he needs to buy RE 2 on PS1 classics, good purchase but he needs to buy silent hill 1 on ps1 classics too.
F.E.A.R., now on Steam, too.
Vampire the masquerade bloodlines is good, it has a really eerie atmosphere.
STALKER gets pretty damn scary. With all the suspense I had to quit the game a few times. But that fear factor isn't the emphasis; Half-life 2 has a few scary moments, but the same argument as STALKER.
I hear Sanitarium is pretty scary but I've never played it. I used to own it though.
Barbie dress up
FEAR isn't scary. There is one part in the first that WAS scary and the only thing scary about the second is those dudes with chains - they're weird. SIREN is bad but scary. Blood Curse is good and scary.
Afraid of Monsters.
That's a mod. Anyway, I played it two years ago, played it on Sven Coop and I re-played it 1 month ago.
Barbie dress up
I tried it ... Oh THE HORROR! I never want to see pink before my eyes <_<
If OP has a PS3 then he needs to buy RE 2 on PS1 classics, good purchase but he needs to buy silent hill 1 on ps1 classics too.
Is it possible to get RE2 from the PS Store? I don't see it in the european PS Store, is there one in the US?
Well, I don't have a PS3.
Some people might not agree, but I really enjoyed the bit I played of Clive Barkers: Jericho. I didnt finish the game but the bit i did play seemed good enough.
Play a Goldsrc mod called "Afraid of Monsters: Director's Cut", and also do indeed wait for Amnesia. Also, in my opinion one of the scariest moments of Silent Hill 1 was the very beginning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beAgEzJvt9s#t=4m15s (link due to specific timing) it may not seem like much in the video, but ingame that slowly darkening descend down a thin area with dynamic camera angles is extremely immersive. Especially if you are not running through it. I should probably attempt to finish it once again while playing it at night with lights off, to observe the general reaction of my fear and immersion meter.
Hidden mod for HL2
Looks like you played all the good scary games. But if you have a DS, you should try Dementium. scared me the first time through.
You might want to try STALKER although it's mostly just action..
Played SoC and CS.
The thing. Afraid of monsters. David Leatherhoff :ohdear:
Try the fatal frame/Project zero series for the PS2. The last one (4) is for the wii though and is only fan translated. But trust me, the project zero games are perfect horror games.
Yes, Fatal Frame 4 was great. I'm trying to play through it again to unlock more suits and stuff. I also got Fatal Frame 1 and 2 on Xbox but I haven't really gotten around to playing them much yet.
Maybe this? Never tried it myself
Metro 2033. I don't know, if it's counted, but I got shocked from time to time.
yea i would say that game is classed as horror / action
