You can either play with dx9 and don't be such a graphics whore or wait for crash fix for dx10, if it ever comes out.
What's the best way to kill those rocket launching Big Daddies? The last weapon I got was the speargun (By the way can you recover rocket spears?)
Just finished the game with the evil ending. Pretty awesome. Shame I only got Kinesis 3 near the end of the game, it's quite fun throwing people around!

I played the game twice and on second playthrough I didn't find the speargun at all.

I think killing the scientist is a good choice, he obviously wanted it and what life is it to live as a fucking living giant tumor.

Rented it today. Never did play the first one, so I'm sort of lost on the story. But so far, it's pretty damn good.
