God he looks badass in that picture.
That said, its pretty hard NOT to look like a badass with a minigun :v:
Gabe Newell was going blind. The founder of videogame seller Valve suffers from Fuchs Dystrophy, a congenital disease that slowly destroys the cornea. "I have dead-people eyes," he said at the time.
This explains why Valve games haven't improved in graphics much over the last 7 years.
I think Gabe lost weight because he couldn't find the food due to him going blind. Don't worry, his weight will be back soon.

It was a joke.
I know it was cured, it's a stupid joke. The reason his weight will be back is because he regained his eyesight, so don't call me out on that.
"Limited to people who have a high performance computer"?
Have you seen the Source engine?
Compliment Gabe on his weight-loss.
Episode 3 advanced.
Hello. And Bye.
This man is a testimony to the fact that you can make billions "staring at a screen all day".
What a world we live in.
He'd become the living Saxton Hale.
He already is, he's just retired, he is about to come out of it too!
Valve is awesome and bad at the same time, they make really good decisions and I mean REALLY good, but when they make bad ones, they affect these decisions too much because of how high we see Valve and how high our exceptions are, if this were any other company, we wouldn't expect that high, but I guess that's why we love Valve, because we can set our expectations that high, and almost always are rewarded for doing so. While 2010 might not of been their best quality wise, I'm sure 2011 will be great and awesome-filled!
At this rate next time we see a photo of Gabe, he will wield a baseball bat.
No, next time we'll see a pic of Gabe, he'll hold a Rocket Launcher the size of an airplane jet.
Probably one of the happiest people in the world. Not only did he help build the giant that is Microsoft, he went and built an entirely new company from the ground up that's cleared almost a billion dollars last year alone.
His kids are insanely lucky to have a role model like that.

Anyway, stop making dumb fat jokes you guys. By the time this is over Gabe is going to look like Duke Nukem, and then you'll be sorry.
Nice job Gabe.....keep up the good work and don't end up like Bobby Cockdick.
Damn Gabe is looking thinner with every newer pic I seen of him. I'm proud of him.
Now that you mention it. He really is!
