ITT: Why do you want to buy a game that the developers put a lot of time into. You aren't allowed to enjoy it.
Fixed the facebook issue, new location acquired.
innovative? are you serious? Crysis is a generic shooter, the only innovative thing are the graphics which don't matter much and the suit other than those 2 things, it's got nothing more amazing than any other shooter out there, oh wow aliens and korean how original
Ok we get it you don't like it no one gives a fuck about your opinion go complain on some Crysis hate forum where people actually want to hear you.
I am signer #2
I'm number 4.
I am signer #5
Why is it generic? From my position, Crysis does several things that very few other games do: 1) First half of the game is populated with expansive, open-world environments that actually allow you to explore where you want. 2) It's one of the few games that says "play how you want" and actually means it. I could tear down the coastline with strength mode on and just wreck encampment after encampment, or I can indulge in sneaking about, spending a few hours per level just traversing the map, quietly taking out any resistance I can find. 3) The graphics are unparalleled, and the sound design is incredibly immersive. 4) Weapon customization on the fly is a concept that I honestly can't think of from any other shooters, and it leads to great tactical decision-making. The story is fairly generic, I'll grant you, but the actual design of the game is pretty damn unique.
But Crytek isn't losing any revenue from this leaked build - it's an incomplete, buggy version, and they weren't planning on selling it anyway. Unless people play the build and then decide it's a bad game and subsequently don't purchase it. If that's the case, can you really blame them?
Ok we get it you don't like it no one gives a fuck about your opinion go complain on some Crysis hate forum where people actually want to hear you.
crysis hate forum also
no one gives a fuck about your opinion
works both ways I'm afraid
Honestly if I were to pirate a game that costs $60, I would feel less inclined to pay $60 for it. I'd probably just wait till it goes on sale on steam or something. I hope they still do a PC beta.
But Crytek isn't losing any revenue from this leaked build
Sorry, but that just can't be true.

how do i have impossible expectations?
works both ways I'm afraid
Depends where "I'm afraid." If you're going to bitch about a game negatively in a thread where it's liked, you're wasting your time and getting yourself angry over nothing.
The petition will be emailed to Cevat Yerli when a significant number of people have signed.
The petition will be emailed to Cevat Yerli when a significant number of people have signed.
I would advise contacting The Escapist, Kotaku, Destructoid and whoever else you can think of to try and promote the petition.
I would advise contacting The Escapist, Kotaku, Destructoid and whoever else you can think of to try and promote the petition.
I have contacted Joystiq.com, but have yet to receive a response. I'll now go through the ones you mentioned. I honestly can't do this all on my own though, I'd appreciate some help, in whatever form you can provide it. The guest number on this thread is steadily rising which is a good sign.
