i played a bit of gears 2 and got frustrated that sometimes i could do really well and one shot kill people with the gnasher, yet other times I'd could fire multiple shots point blank into a person only to have them one shot kill me.

Watch the video you posted, skip to round ten. Holy shit the lambent berserker looks hard to kill. Imagine the Brumak though. Damn. Are there like, only 5 bosses you fight, or is there more than that but it chooses randomly? eg: ten bosses, a random 5 gets chosen for each tenth wave.

Did you see nearer the end of the video were they had to fight two beserkers

Managed the first 10 waves of Horde on Normal, although the boss round 10 was insanely difficult solo so had to turn it down to casual to win.

For those interested the boss battle combos I saw were:
[sp]Brumak[/sp]
[sp]Two beserkers[/sp]
[sp]Mix of the giant millipede and the corpsers[/sp]

Each came with a mix of normal enemies too.

Sounds extreme. Yeah, boss battles will probably be near impossible on Veteran. How's beast mode? Is it hard on solo?

I dunno about you guys but Gold Weapons(skins) kinda ruins the "Gears" look of my character it doesnt fit, my opinion. Anyway i'm very looking forward to this game, so much that i pre-order it! Let's see how this ends fellow Gears! Hope to see you guys out there on the (Cole Train voice) "GAME BABY! WOOOO!"

Also, Rod Ferguson said that they are working out on a Weapons Skins list/catalog of some sort so we can choose individually instead of buying everything if some of you don't want to buy the whole package.

@GearsViking, So I'm getting mixed answers on this. Will there be weapon skins available as dlc on day one?
@LucidFear, yes there will be 21 weapon skin sets avail day 1

@GearsViking, so if you bought the season pass, the first 4 DLC is already paid for?
@GreenDayCobain, yes the 4 bigger DLC packages...doesn't include the 21 weapon skin sets

I just wanna know why they put 1 minute as the time limit for beast mode. Quite short if you ask me, and it'll be really hard on solo I bet. Also, why are they saying it's coming out monday, when it is said to be out on the 20th? Which is tuesday.

I know this is probably late, but it sums up how epic beast mode will be in 1 minute. Amazing things I noticed:

Drone planted grenade, S. Ticker ate it, ran into stranded and got double kill
Wretch screams, two S. Corspers pop up and destroy shit.
Armored Kantus downs Anya and then rolls into her.
Digger Boomer shoots a grenade in CCarmines face
Berserker tears through defenses in 1 charge.

Crimson omen you can't get, I think that's about it, the gold lancer and hammer burst will also be obtainable within the first week and I assume you got the golden retro lancer during the beta, other wise you cant get that either, all the others from my knowledge are obtainable whenever.

IMO, a lot of the animated skins looks ugly. Like the oil slick, ocean ones.. rainbow, ect. I hope the skins don't get taken too far, I want this game to be remembered by how epic it was, not by how silly the weapon skins are.

I assume he's the one on the left?

But on the topic of weapon skins, I like them. There's a few ugly ones, like garrish or immulsion. And there there are a few that I think are cool, like liquid metal, and ocean, but I'm the kind of person who would use lore-friendly skins.
I think the bloody lancer's the one for me.
