Did anyone preorder from Amazon? I really want the Savage Kantus skin (I'll trade my Commando Dom code).

Now I'm super excited for tomorrow to play beast mode, then campaign. Gonna try beast mode on solo, but on easy, because even normal is a bit hard to do solo. Or at least from what I've seen. Going for some beast mode achievements instantly. Then, campaign. Horde might come next if I have time tomorrow night, and multiplayer will probably not be played for awhile.

Commando Dom is cooler, and there are way more neater looking Locusts imo.

Savage locust looks pretty anorexic if you ask me. Going on a diet there big guy? Also, you know how in that beast mode gameplay, the guy planted a grenade and the savage ticker ate it up and exploded? Is it possible to do that for real?

My copy just shipped, here we go.

I always choose the skinniest character on either team, makes me feel more nimble and dodge more shots (even though they're all exactly the same hit-box wise).

Beast mode is so so fun when you get to the monsters like the Berserker.

1 hour and 25 minutes until gears is out here, then it's off to my local gamestop. I'll probably end up doing beast mode first as the only footage i've watched so far was that, and thus I really want to play it. and now i'm off to wait there, i'll make sure to tell you all how much fun I'm having playing it.

Okay so right out the gate I will have four extra Cog characters, Thrashball Cole, Griffin, Commando Dom, and Adam Fenix. Seriously, there needs to be more Locust characters.

Wait, I think I actually think having characters as DLC is even bigger bullshit. We got Skorge and RAAM last game for doing special stuff, not by spending extra money. It seems like they're having less stuff unlock for special achievements and more stuff unlock if you spend money for it.

Fuck yeah, I bought the LAST copy of Gears of War 3 limited edition from my eb games.

I tried playing Gears 2 today. People only used shotguns, while for some reason I thought that machine guns were actually useful. I got chased around by people with shotguns, and they always killed me.

Preordered the new game a long time ago. The beta I played for a while but lost interest because it was all PVP shit, AKA my least favorite about Gears 2. But I heard recently about the Beast mode and the new revamped Horde mode and I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED. Picking up my copy as soon as possible.

Yeah, according to Destructoid the shotguns are as OP as ever, and host advantage is still very real. It's just like Gears 1 and 2 supposedly.
