I remember when I had money and I could buy these games instead of mooching off of friends at their houses all day
spiders have 8 legs
thanks for the fucking spoiler
You know, I have to give Epic credit. I haven't had an opportunity to play the game yet, but after looking at the contents of my Limited Edition...Adam Fenix's writings to Marcus are really quite touching.
I really hope Carmine lives. No one ruin it for me, I can't play until tomorrow. But I hope he lives.

Carmines a dick.
No actually I find him to be the smartest guy on the team. He's revived me 90% of the time while the others run off to god knows where.
Got to wave 40 of horde with some randoms on Drydock. Holy fuck it gets hard as shit on the boss rounds. Didn't help that me and one other dude were the only people reviving the others.
Played a lot of Horde and Beast games. Beast mode is so damn fun, though its disappointing there are no Brumaks. Berserker is insane though. Easy mode for breaking the COG's lines of defense.
Multiplayer feels good. Beast mode is kind of really easy, but those Onyx Guards are frustrating as fuck. All they do is dodgeroll all over the place. I feel like the Lancer is actually the best gun in Multiplayer, followed by the Gnasher. Both of those absolutely wreck.

Oh, also, got an MVP medal on my very first match.
Big spoiler up ahead, only a question to those who have gotten up to act 4!
[sp] So, I noticed C carmine hasn't been with us during the gas station raid where you first encounter lambent humans. Or anything after that. Even after dom dies, he's not fighting or seen. I also remember Dom watching a gear that looked like Carmine getting his arm torn off by a lambent, but I thought to myself, "Carmine is supposed to live so that's not him".. so, was I wrong? Did carmine die even though he wasn't supposed to? Or can somebody explain what happened..[/sp]
Honestly here, I'm at the last chapter I think and I still haven't heard from him, I think Epic [sp]just said screw the votes and killed him anyway[/sp]
Retro Lancer is amazing

[sp]That wasn't Carmine that got killed. It was just a generic COG soldier. You see Carmine show up again later near the end.[/sp]
Finished the game on Hardcore solo. I also went out and purchased an Xbox Live Gold time card. The SOS in multiplayer is incredibly cheap.
Gears of War 3 = Two buff men opening/lifting doors and lifting barbed wire: the game

I thought those cutscenes were extremely tedious, since it was the same thing like, 10-20 times throughout the campaign.
Protip- Don't post here until you finish the entire campaign, no matter how tempting.
[sp]I personally thought that Tempest was a pretty lame boss, seemed too easy to me. Then having all the locust/lambent just die from the device being used was REALLY anti-climatic, but they needed to rap that shit up soooo[/sp]

I hope they add more locust types to beast mode.

More like We'll Explain Later: The Game.
[sp]Karen Traviss, you're a bitch and I hate you. Dom was my favorite.[/sp]
Other than that, superb game. Been doing campaign, tried Beast, Versus and Versus bots. Absolutely blown away.
whoops~
Also, did anyone notice the names in the credits for voice actors?
A few that popped out at me were [sp]John Dimaggio, Isaiah Mustafa, and Robin Atkin Downs[/sp].
I only watched the credits hoping there'd be more at the end, but nope, 10-15 minutes down the drain.
Still in Chapter 2 but i'm having a blast so far. The only complaint I have, and I knew I would have it, is that Jace is annoying. Nothing about his character interests me at all, and I find myself pulling for the people shooting at us when he's around. But i'm still pretty early in the game he might grow on me, maybe.

Okay, good. good. [sp]I thought he died because I seriously didn't see him for 2 acts.[/sp]
I swear half the people that I have played horde with haven't played the campaign.
I swear half the people that I have played horde with haven't played the campaign.
90% of the people I play with run off on their own instead of sticking together, and never revive me. While I run across the map to revive them.
Just re-watched [sp]dom's death scene.. They just HAD to add the mad world song in it, didn't they? that made it at least 99.99% sadder. fuck. I'd rather carmine to die than dom. I wonder what would've happened if carmine was voted to die? Would dom live? Too late to find out...[/sp]
I know I shed a tear at that part :(.

Spoiler!
[sp] He doesn't die [/sp]

Time to run through the campaign on Insane. Also I have to fix gold again.
Someone up for some Campaign (4 Co-Op) in the near future?
I swear half the people that I have played horde with haven't played the campaign.
There are a lot of people out there who simply do not play singleplayer at any point. I've met dozens of people at work who refuse to play anything other than multiplayer in games, even if the campaign is a godsend.

[sp]He comes back at the very end as a King Raven gunner. Don't worry, he lives.[/sp]

John Di Maggio voices Marcus, how did you not know that?
Isaiah Mustafa voiced random COG Gears.
Robin Atkin Downes voiced Minh Young Kim, Kantus, Boomers, Locust Drones, Niles, Sires and Chaps.

Also they really need to fix the hammerburst. Using a modded controller on that thing makes it the most accurate starter weapon you get (I used a modded controller with it only for horde and campaign). Shoots fast as fuck and when in ironsights it makes it almost as accurate as the longshot.

His character doesn't get any better. I disliked him at the end as much as I did in the beginning. The voice actor is pretty bad at delivering his lines, however simply and emotionless they may be.
edit: I also really want a Savage Kantus code.
So did anyone else laugh their asses off when ACT ONE SPOILERS [sp]Carmine gets shot in the head by the stranded guy, then as he's walking into the outpost "good thing I wear a helmet"[/sp]

Or on the way to the grocery store [sp]the wall collapses right next to him.[/sp]
[sp] carmine almost dies a lot, and I think it's just Epic making fun of how Anthony Carmine died.[/sp]
