My two best friends decided to play the campaign instead of waiting for me because they're getting story stuff spoiled by other people. Why so unlucky :suicide:
I'll play it with you iggy.
Anyone up for some horde, preferably with mics?
Beast mode isn't really fun by yourself, considering your only options for ever winning are the savage drone/grenadier, then beserker spamming until you win.

I had 270 gamer points left on my account so i bought the tiger skins
[sp]I was kinda scared when carmine wasn't around in the game since act 3. But then He returns unexpectedly in late act 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/sp]
I just finished the campaign. [sp]They still didn't explain the fucking sires.[/sp]
[sp]It felt like they didn't explain fucking anything.[/sp]

It's bacon fool.
It's bacon fool.
Obviously... It was a joke. [editline]22nd September 2011[/editline] Dear Epic Games. Please make Gears of War 4. Clearly would have be a prequel, or a rebuild society simulator. -Everyone PS.. COLE TRAIN BABY WOOOOOOO [editline]22nd September 2011[/editline] BTW guys, nothing after credits, don't bother unless you appreciate the credits, like I did.
I'm really really bothered that they didn't wrap like anything up. They didn't answer any mysteries, they only created more. Everyone who says that the game wrapped up the trilogy nicely is dumb.
and what question are you talking about
All of them.
All of them.
Seem of the questions seem to be a lineup for a spinoff and or prequel.
I watched the ending on youtube, and there seems to be more footage than what I got. Is there a special ending for beating the game on the hardest difficulty? Or did my game just mess up and cut off a few minutes? Link to ending cutscene. Spoilers of course. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaqJlM670K0
The ending was fine, and what question are you talking about, [SP] it or PM.
[sp]What were the sires? Why did the Queen look like a human? Where did the Locust originally come from? Back in Gears 1, the devs said that the Brumak is evolved from the modern-day Gorilla, which kind of implies the Locust have human origins of somesort. Why did the Locust have such animosity against humanity and why did they consider the surface as their rightful place, despite the fact that Adam Fenix says they lived underground, and once forced to the surface, tried to burrow underground again? How did Adam Fenix contact the Locust years before E-Day, and why didn't he warn anybody? What was on that disk he gave Baird?[/sp] There were a lot of things that went un-answered.

And dont forget DLC.
That doesn't make it alright to have an ending like that. Literally nothing was answered, nothing. They were building and building it up and then it just ended. It's a shame too because the rest of the game was great, the ending was just utter shit.

And they can do whatever the fuck they want with it, it's their game.
Well that is a matter of opinion. I thought the ended was good. And they can do whatever the fuck they want with it, it's their game.
Yeah, it's their game, that they're selling to a large audience. Anyone can change the things they own, but that doesn't make them invulnerable to criticism. I loved Gears 3 right up until the moment it dawned on me that nothing was going to be explained. There wasn't even a post-credits cutscene to hint at anything. They really fucked up on answering the questions and trying to not abort story arcs like the Sires.
I was at least hoping they'd have a long ass cutscene at the end which explains it in depth rather than some anticlimactic ending where [sp]all the locust die, the end, we all live happily ever afted and all that shit.[/sp]
What the christ Lithuanian postal service, stop slacking off, I need my Gears 3 :c
I'm certain there will be DLC to explain all that, or a prequel.
I want more locust to play as in beast mode.
I'm certain there will be DLC to explain all that, or a prequel.
They should have wrapped it up in the core game. Not explaining anything in order to release DLC somewhere down the road, and milk people for cash, to complete an experience that should've already been completed is ridiculous.
The ending was fine, and what question are you talking about, [SP] it or PM.
[sp]What was on that data disc Adam gave Baird? How about Griffin's "I'll see you later asshole!" the vanishing. Why did the queen only ask one human scientist instead of having the Locust research the imulsion? Why is she a human, even Baird asks this several times.[/sp] There's alot more, the writer was awful.
I bet in a few months we'll see a book which explains all this shit. And it'll be written by none other than Karen Traviss.
My college teacher apparently said that they're releasing a DLC that explains it, not sure if it's true but it'll be bullshit either way. also forgot this:

He explained that he had MANY ideas, he assumed that he could find a solution before the locust attacked[/sp]
