Gears of War Megathread V1: I'm coughing up blood that ain't even mine! - Games

I fucking despise people who complain about OP weapons when they are absolutely fine. It's your fault for not being able to fucking adapt. I rarely get gibbed by the DBS.

The logical people keep repeating it, but people always have some sort of shitty counter-argument, and I use that term loosely, so it's just an endless cycle of "OMG ITS OP" "ADAPT" OMG ITS OP" "ADAPT", ect..

The double barreled is kind of insane though. I mean I get jack shit for kills with the Gnasher and then I tear it up easily with the double barrel. Maybe I'm just good with it though.

Played my first Versus game of Gears 3. Sawed-Offs everywhere. But I tore them apart with my Retro Lancer. Then some horrible Southern kid began calling me and my teammates 'Gay-ass fag retards who can't play for shit' after we beat him. Twice.

I was getting wrecked by a team using DBS. So I decided to try a different strategy, which ATM, was running down the path everybody usually goes. I decided to take the long way around them, and it payed off tremoundously. First off, it helped my team advance foward to kill them. Second, it got me a few kills w/o being worried about people DBS'ing me.

Anyone have a mechanic bairs theyre looking to trade? If so just pm me and maybe we can work something out

Anyone have tips for unlocking Kantus, by the way? It's nearly impossible to get revives in Beast mode, and I'm pretty sure those don't even count. Should I be trying it in Horde, or just simple Multiplayer? Once I get that, I'm never using another skin. Kantus is awesome.

Went back GoW 1 and got the Don't hate the player achievement, still didn't get the Chrome Lancer. Is there a delay between the time you get the achievement and when you actually unlock it?

Fucking great Horde game just now. We get a Lambent Zerker, and we're all crowded around laying into the bitch with our Lancers, two of us (Myself included) get killed in the process, but we finally bring her down. Then the last two guys get killed by her explosion and we get another Lambent Zerker. Went better the second time.

Is it just me, or does anyone else refrain from playing any multiplayer modes on any game until you finish it on singleplayer first? I have a few people on my friends list that haven't even done the first chapter yet have a lot of multiplayer achievements.

I don't know what kind of questions you guys have. Having played through both Gears 1 and 2 I didn't really have that many questions to begin with. My only questions were who are the Locust/Lambent, where the fuck did they come from, and how are they going to lose.
