You get the mega-badass Onyx Guard be getting to Rank 100 right? That's what I've heard anyway.
You unlock Anthony Carmine at rank 100.
Here's an important tip. If you see someone DBNO, FUCKING REVIVE THEM YOU DICK.
I was just downed behind cover NEXT TO FIVE PEOPLE and I wasn't revived. Jesus.
I generally hesitate when it comes to reviving people, if someone is in the middle of a massive fire fight, I don't revive them. Also if I've downed an enemy and a downed team mate is near by I always get the kill first other wise you get those wankers who rob your kills when you get them up

Reviving someone in a shotgun fight has actually saved my life as well as the person I revived.
It's kind of a morale drainer when the 1 person you were just fighting turns to two. Plus, not many people expect it and straight up miss.
I unlocked the shielded troika in horde. It's about as powerful as the silverback machine gun.
Thunderstorm is a great weapon skin.

What rank do you need your turrets at to unlock it and does it have an ammo count?
What rank do you need your turrets at to unlock it and does it have an ammo count?
Lvl 7 turrets and 500 ammo count. It's alot more accurate than the lancer turrets.

7? I have turrets at 4 (which is lancer turrets), what do you get in between?

Probably reduced repair/reload costs.
It seems like I'm the only one in my team who runs halfway across the map to revive someone.
Recently I've been going out of my way to do it just because I want to unlock the Kantus skin, but I like to be an asset to my team.
Speaking of that, my current title is The Designator, which sounds badass and I like it. Spotting is super useful and a really easy way to point whore. If you spot someone you get assist points when they die, even if you had nothing to do with the fight.
Pro-tip: When someone's having a chainsaw battle, spot the enemy. If your teammate wins the battle you still get points. :v
The new Horde is awesome and confusing. I love all the new things they added, but at the same time I'm finding it a bit of a pain to level up the buildables. I can never seem to make enough money but I see players with thousands of cash making high level crap.
I don't understand how sometimes I can be so bad at this game. Sometimes I go 12-1, other times I can barely break even and go 7-7 or 4-6. Sometimes it seems I can't hit anything with my shotgun.

I've been noticing a lot that I am the ONLY one spending any money. I look at the scoreboard and on wave 30 my teammates have like $20,000 or $30,000. I was wondering the whole match why I barely see anything being built/upgraded and why I can barely keep any money going. Then I look at the scoreboard and then I know why.

Play by yourself. Single player horde = tons of money because all the kills are yours. Play it on casual. Just don't expect to be gung-ho around waves 20+

The only times I go negative is when the entire other team only uses lancers or hammerbursts. My team can literally not move anywhere because it is impossible to get out from the cover you're in to the next closest cover when you have 3 lancers all shooting you down.
Also this is why you play Horde with friends. I'm just trying to upgrade my fortifications to max that way when I actually try the insane playthrough, I don't have to spend as much on everything (especially silver backs, the max level is 2 and it gives you a 33% discount for repairs on it)
I'd love to do horde/beast with you guys, but my mic's cord got chewed up by my cat, and I won't have the money for a new one for about 4-5 days.

I hate this, I was on Stadium earlier and downed 2 people with 2 team mates near me, soon as I got close to do an execution [Hold Y] they took my kills :suicide:
So are any people on here actually getting a party together to go through Waves 1 - 50 on Horde Mode?
[editline]27th September 2011[/editline]
Also i've gone back to using the Retro Lancer, i know the Hammerburst has like, no bullet spread and firing from cover is basically like firing while aiming, but i miss the bayonet and the over look of the Retro Lancer, i'll probably switch back and forth between the two, i haven't even bothered with the regular Lancer that much.

Sounds like a brilliant idea! I just got a new Hard Drive for my Xbox (was running off 4GB for way too long) so I'm just installing stuff now. But once GoW3 is installed I'll do that right away.
Is it just me or does the menu music sound like the music from the Black Ops Multiplayer menu?
[editline]27th September 2011[/editline]
Sounds like a mix between Gears of War, Crysis and Black Ops.

No idea, but if it does happen, I'm game. Add me on Live. :3
Also, I just can't get used to the Bayonet. It's not exactly accurate when you charge, seems to be rather useless imo.

Added.
[sp]I'm pretty sure the immulsion didn't need to be alive to be used as a fuel source[/sp]
It was shown to blow up all the raw immulsion, which means it probably should have blown up all the COG vehicles and caused a complete and utter technological collapse.
Hey guys, I'm looking for some people to help with Insane Beast, if anyone cares to help then just add: Cameron Stroub
Thanks! I'm not sure when I'll be on, but if I'm around I'll set up a game for whoever is around, thanks again.
Anybody want to go on Horde Mode with me? Microphone preferred, Gamertag is under my Avatar.
Anyone know what gamemode brings in the most exp? Horde gives me around 6,000 exp per 10 waves.

Doing a private Team Deathmatch game with max respawns in order to farm medals gives pretty good XP. I've done it from some medals that are a huge pain, like bronze Hammerburst or the medic medal.

KOTH
I usually get around 5000 per match + ribbons and medals (if I get any medals) which brings me to around 7000.
Part of me wants to start running the SOS just to keep up with people, but part of me has pride and won't let it go.
Part of me wants to start running the SOS just to keep up with people, but part of me has pride and won't let it go.
people won't discriminate you for using the weapon man. I use it all the time. I get the occasional hate mail and that's it. People will call you a noob via messages and that's it. It doesn't phase me. Who cares about pride in this game? My favorite weapons are everybody's most hated. Retro+SOS.
The part that really bugs me about the SoS is that a lot of the maps are made that make it pretty much a necessity to use. If you're playing on Sandbar, the SOS is pretty much useless. If you're playing on Trenches, you'll top the scoreboard. It's ridiculous.

Which is why you have a choice.
