It puts you in lobbies on dedicated servers meant for the area you're in, so if you're getting that bad of connection it's either you're joining a dedicated server on the other side of the world or your connection is shit, I've never had a problem like that on Gears 3.

Whyyyyy[/QUOTE] Your connection sucks, not XBL/Gears of War 3 Only had a lag spike while i was downloading some school files other then that perfectly smooth and awesome multiplayer

Loving this game so far, havent even played Campaign or Online yet but the Horde and Beast mode alone are really cool if you play it splitscreen with a friend. Whats your favourite execution? Mine would be the Hammerburst. It just looks badass IMO.

What is subway doing for gears unlocks?

I'm really liking how you get horde stuff for the map pack. I might have to just give in and get the season pass. Arrrgh. The maps seem pretty decent.

Bought the season pass. Woo! A [i]bit[/i] disappointed that the first DLC won't have any beast mode additions, but hell, it has some new horde mode additions so it's worth it. Hopefully the next DLC will be allllll about the locust.

How much is 2400 Microsoft Points again? I might just get that Season Pass and say fuck it.

I don't think Subway is having a Gears promotion, just Uncharted. Also, why can't there be a jack in the box within a couple hundred miles. :(

I have a Jack in the Box near my house. I'll grab some whenever I can to get as many codes as possible. If I have a bunch of extras I might give some out here, but no promises.

Unless the server was down (which is highly unlikely) it's a problem with [I]your[/I] connection.

That - of course - wasn't my intention, as I quite enjoy the Gears franchise. I even traded my regular edition for the Collectors Edition at the local store. The new DLC sounds really good

I just saw 2 level 100s in 2 seperate games ranked games back to back. One of them has played gears for way too long and I suggest he plays something else for a change. The other.... well he just sucked.
