It can be effective if they are like 75% of the sawed off users who just bum rush you.

It's more of a problem on overpass, which is a map that pretty much revolves around gaining the high ground. I've had so many times were my team has been unable to take the high ground because everyone up their just camps with the sawed off. There is almost no way of getting a guy who is behing a wall with a sawed off unless they fuck up and miss the shot.

Flame maybe, but I've found the gears of war 3 ink grenade to be really ineffective.

Has anyone beat the last boss battle on insane difficulty? I have tried to beat it with 3 of my friends for 2 hrs and couldn't beat it. Playing it in arcade mode with super reload, infinite ammo, and the melee mutators.

We only had the super active reload thing and it was pretty easy haha But then again i tried doing it in 4 player co-op on insane and we spent 3 hours dying again and again. it's weird

I only have silver gnasher :(

Is the Medal you need to get that "Super Reload" Mutator only achievable in Singleplayer/Versus? It doesnt appear to count if you do a Perfect Reload in Horde.

To get Super Reload you need to get Bronze on every starting weapon, meaning the Lancer, Hammerburst, Retro Lancer, Gnasher and Sawn Off. I should almost have the Onyx lancer and gnasher by the end of the week, seeing as I get 430+ kills per private match.

It got me from 39 Combat Engineer medals to one fucking hundred in about 15 minutes. Thank god too, infinite ammo will be a godsend in horde.
