I hate armoured kantus' there doesn't seem to be any definable weak point since grenades are kind of sparse, when you're running low on ammo and trying to kill it, nothing seems to work.
And berserkers just tear shit up.
Down an enemy (such as a drone), when the armored kantus screams to pick him up you shoot him in the mouth. That's his weak spot.

Still takes for fucking ever to kill him that way, though.
I swear, I'm more afraid of getting an Armored Kantus in a round than getting a Berserker for a boss.

Didn't know that, thanks for posting that.
Yesterday my friends and I finished the campaign on Hardcore. Although some boss battles weren't easy, the campaign overall didn't seem that difficult.
Laugh track mutator is brilliant :v:
Laugh track mutator is brilliant :v:
It gets a little sinister sometimes.
Me and my friend were playing Horde with it on, and I was dead and a Berserker was cornering my friend, and the laugh track started playing as he was slowly being cornered by the beast and then dying.
Were you in the beta, but didn't unlock Thrashball Cole? Or you deleted your beta savegame?
You can still unlock Thrashball Cole and the flaming camo guns. And here is how.
1. Call Microsoft's service number: 1-800-4-MYXBOX
2. Tell them something along the lines of this "I played in the beta but my unlocks arent showing up in the retail game."
3. The person is going ask this question ALMOST every time: "Is your save data in the same place as your Gears 3 retail data?" always say "YES"
4. Now they're going to make you troubleshoot by doing things like deleting your profile and recovering it, etc. You dont have to do these things just pause for a minute and then say: "Okay, I did that."
5. Now after a while they are going to say "Alright, since we cant get this working I will send you some redeem codes over email is this your correct email. If yes, say yes. If not give them the email you want to receive the code on.
6. You're done, make sure to say thanks for the help.

Would this work in Britain and if so what's the number, or is it the same?

Late, they already fixed it.
Torque Bow TDM is so fucking simple, I got a 50G achievement the first time I got a kill, it was "LAMBENCY"
Torque Bow TDM is so fucking simple, I got a 50G achievement the first time I got a kill, it was "LAMBENCY"
How the fuck did that happen? You have to execute an opponent for that.
How the fuck did that happen? You have to execute an opponent for that.
This. Unless you executed him (which is unlikely since you're using a torque bow) you couldn't have gotten that.
Also, that doesn't make the mode simple. You get that for executing a guy who has the achievement already.
Get Torque Bow Tag ribbon, lose connection to XBL because this entire weekend I can't play for more than 5 minutes on Gears 3 and even so I can't do shit because of the amazing super lag, reconnect, war supporter still at 1. :suicide:
Pub Horde mode is impossible to beat if your team doesn't have most of their building levels maxed out and maybe if they know what the fuck to do. The entire gamemode becomes unbeatable if all of your buildings get destroyed and you don't have enough money to rebuild.
ps. Checkout is the best map to play Horde mode. Out of the times I had played that map, there's a slim chance of getting Berserkers.
It feels like money needs to be given in higher amounts in horde. Maybe like 1.5x or 2x what it is now, I'm not sure. If you get a Berserker wave, or worse, the host leaves and everyone reconnects, you lose everything and can't build it up again because the waves are too hard without the fortifications. They're a cool addition but cost too much. Another way to do it might be to lower the cost of the initial placement, but up the cost of the upgrades? Just something to get more things on the field
theyre being a bit stingy with all this on disk DLC

did anyone else expect something more from the one-shot execution?
did anyone else expect something more from the one-shot execution?
No.
Half of the executions were just bashing them with your weapon. The other half was cutting them with the sharp end, or hitting them in the face with something else besides your weapon.

I personally would've rather slammed the barrel into the face, rather than the blunt end. But meh, it's fine the way it is.
Everybody is now complaining about how the DBS can kill while you're looking at a 45 degree angle :v: Big deal, that means the weapon is WORKING. It was meant to have a large spread. Besides, who walks around like "herp derp im gonna aim upwards"

Uh
If you can kill someone when you're not even looking at them with a gun, that gun is probably a little overpowered.

It's been that way since launch, people are just bitching about it because they still think it's overpowered. The whole point of the dbs was to be a 1 shot weapon at close range with a wide spread. Anything that would stand infront of you would be dead or partially dead.

It IS overpowered. Don't act like it's been nerfed. On Launch they said it was ineffective outside of Melee range, but that was actually untrue. Now it's back to ineffective outside melee range. It's a fine concept, but the fact that you can just roll up to someone from nowhere and one-shot them or just mash the A-button to hop between cover faster than they can shoot you means that it's extremely easy to get kills with and is probably the best starting weapon in the game.
I mean, there was a guy who had the doubled barreled, and he missed his first shot, and he was dodge-rolling so much during his reload that I couldn't get him with my Lancer before he reloaded and killed me. It's not because I'm bad, but because people can dodge roll and cover-hop much faster than you can aim at them.
If I sayed I could get a "bundle" of beanie's with the Gear's Of War 3 logo on it.
Would anyone buy them and pay to have them shipped?

No, I work at Walmart. And we received all the gear for the game launch yesterday.
T Shirt's, Hat's, Beanie's (Free when you buy the game on launch day), and lanyard's.
[editline]blah[/editline] I'm a idiot. I though that shit was for launch but it's for general sale.
They really put a lot of work into the doors in this one.
It's like, 6 unique door opening animations.

It was nerfed, so I'm pretty sure I can act like it was, AND make it believable.

Except it's been 'nerfed' to how they said it was going to be. It wasn't a legitimate nerf, it was them actually lying about how good it was and then covering their asses.

You're saying it's overpowered because you couldn't down someone who continuously rolled away from your lancer instead of just pulling out the gnasher and shooting him 3 times?
You're saying it's overpowered because you couldn't down someone who continuously rolled away from your lancer instead of just pulling out the gnasher and shooting him 3 times?
Yeah man I forgot the gnasher could just shoot through cover.
Oh no wait it can't.
If an SOS user gets shot, they grab cover. I mean that's a fine tactic, except there's cover every fucking five feet, so it's actually hard to down someone who's near cover if they notice you, or get the drop on you. Also, he was rolling from left to right, and past me, and repeating that same kind of general thing. Why can you not grasp the concept of "IT'S HARD TO PUT SHOTS ON A GUY WHO IS CONSTANTLY MOVING FASTER THAN YOU CAN LOOK AT HIM"?

Then why don't you anticipate his moves if he "repeated the same general thing". It really isn't hard to down someone in this game, especially with the lancer. If all else fails, run away and let him chase you, biggest mistake SOS users make.
