the gnasher playlist either has me raping the enemy team or having them blow me away every time from incomprehensible distances.
speaking of odd distances, is it just me or is the range/power of the gnasher completely random sometimes? like i'll shoot a guy who's about 5-10 feet away and it'll insta-gib him, or me and some guy both nail each other point blank but I survive and he explodes.

I've noticed this, I'll shoot a guy 3 times at near-to-point-blank range and do fuck all to him, he can be 10ft away, shoot one bullet and full crimson omen my health meter.
Sawn-off shotguns seem to have not changed in any way shape or form either.

Wrote this, enjoy responses while the thread is still up.
I like the guy saying it needs to be on the disk for other players to see it. The guy farther down pointed out that they could just release auto updates so that the skins could be seen. I mean, the fact that (apparently) they've completely most, if not all, of the DLC and put it on the disk and are now charging like 40 bucks for it is kind of insane. That means they're essentially charging you 100 dollars for a full game.

I've been a long time fan of Gears of War, I've played all the games for a long time and have loved it, I bought the Epic Edition of Gears of War 3 and was happy with my purchase, I enjoyed the game (apart from the ending, which I will get onto later) and the multiplayer (aside several balance issues) but what I'm not happy about in any way shape or form is the way you've decided to try and milk every ounce of cash from customers that have already bought the things you are selling (See: skins/upcoming DLC/characters/more upcoming DLC).
I'd like to start off with the storyline.
Gears of War might not have the strongest storyline, but I enjoyed it. There are certainly a lot of mysteries I would've like to have seen uncovered, such as Queen Myrrah or the Sires,
but the attitude you've taken with Gears 3 seems to be this: 'You want this game to be wrapped up nicely and all your questions to be answered? TOO ****ING BAD'. Not only that, but you've also said that to get the true unravelling of the story you're going to have to buy one of the future DLCs, which brings me onto my next point - DLC.
Gears of War 3 is lined to the brim with pre and post launch DLC - from the free Griffin character unlock to the paid weapon skins - which are a nice touch, but hugely overpriced for what you're buying (which is 1 texture that costs 1/40th of the game's price). The post launch map packs I honestly do not mind paying for (READ: AS LONG AS THEY ARE DEVELOPED AFTER THE GAME'S LAUNCH), I do not agree with some of the prices set (probably by Microsoft) for DLC (1/4th of the game's price) but I enjoy them anyway, and selling map packs like this I would not mind you doing, as I'm sure many other people would agree.
However, what I wholeheartedly disagree with to the bottom of my soul is the fact you've put several different DLCs on the game's disk, and removed them from the initial launch. I understand that the gaming industry is a business - but this is no way to treat customers. Lets take the upcoming DLC - the horde command pack. Let's break it down - shall we?
The DLC contains:
Characters:
A Dizzy skin - Definitely on the disk from launch.
Onyx Guard - Definitely on the disk from launch.
Bernie - Definitely on the disk from launch.
Skins:
Team Plasma - Definitely on the disk from launch.
Jungle Camo - Definitely on the disk from launch.
Horde Features (Which aren't available for ranked online play, apparently.):
Silverback Upgrade - Definitely on the disk from launch.
Sentry Upgrade - Definitely on the disk from launch.
Decoy Upgrade - Definitely on the disk from launch.
Command Centre - Definitely on the disk from launch.
Maps:
This is also a rough area, I've heard rumours of the maps being on the disk from launch, and would not surprise me in any way if they were.
What happened Epic? What happened after UT3? What happened to your sense of community, your sense of love for your industry, your love for creating games, not trying to milk every penny from it? I understand that the gaming industry is a business but you're going in the completely wrong direction in order to make money - look after your community and they'll look after you. Just look at Valve, for over 15 years they've been churning out quality games, and so have you - but you seem to think that in order to make money you need to charge more money and release more DLC at outlandish prices, but you don't. You just need to care for your community and care for the industry too, and in return - you'll probably make more money too. [/release]

Judging from other games, probably not. I'm pretty sure the Mortal Kombat season pass is still available despite all the DLC already being out, and I wouldn't be surprised if the L.A. Noire one was too.
