I know for a fact that I spent plenty of money on silverbacks (trying to get them to the max level before the dlc) and it would divide it by at least half. I spent literally thousands on it and it would barely move compared to how much I spent on it.

Does anyone have a Savage Kantus code they would be willing to part with? I can paypal you money.

Epic shouldn't have made the new unlocks so difficult to get. The command station should've been a starting fortification. I haven't even got level 2 turrets yet :v:

Strategy I used: Oldtown, normal, wave 25, super reload mutator+2 hard mutators[no ammo pickup and another one], go to the very top command post, by the upper scorcher area. There's 4 turrets you can buy. If you did this all correctly, you SHOULD get like 6255 or something lol. Buy all 4 turrets, quit to main menu or die and quit, rinse and repeat.

Wow, the HoD Command Centre is useless. Anyone know how much the Silverback upgrade costs, and what level it unlocks at?

The command post is really weird. Sometimes it gets like six kills with a single press of the button, and other times it just gets one. I don't really know why, either. It's really weirdly touchy about when it gets kills.

Bought a Savage Kantus code and a Green skin set off eBay. I feel dirty.

Anyone played the custom playlist this weekend? (Can you dig it?) It's probably my favorite so far, they have got the balance right by adding the gnasher into the mix

It's not fun if you have a buncha people rushing you with gnashers, I play torque bow tag, or digger events, to use that particular weapon, NOT to die by gnasher rushes. You can stop them sure, but it's hard to stop 3-4 people rushing you with it.

The Onyx Guard bot is hilarious. He runs into a group of boomer type enemy's and either gets killed instantly, or somehow kills them all with a Gnasher. I swear to god I saw him wall bouncing at one point.

I get that it's a pain to wait for three weeks, but come on, your Xbox could have red ringed, or hacked and never returned, or something could have bumped your xbox and given your disk laserburn, or anything like that. It's not really all that bad.

So. Just maxed out my decoys. For the price it is to bring that fucker to life, it's not worth it. What's worse, if he dies - which he will - you need to start from level 1 decoy again. Fun stuff :v:

Since Batman: Arkham City came out, I've kept busy with it and the other shooters of the year and haven't touched this game since. Kinda sad, really.

skyrim has been eating all my gaming time. when raam's shadow is released I'll play gears for a bit, until then skyrim.

Finally, I bought Gears 3. I have been waiting for a while now. Completed it few minutes ago, great game although I am a bit disapointed by the campaign. Nevertheless it is a blast to play in Coop.

Bumping this, less than a week before Raams shadow comes out.. Yeah, you heard right. Not only do you play as the COG with 4 people, you switch it up, and play as RAAM, two special maulers[shields that seriously deflect bullets, you can aim where they deflect, and have advanced helmets], and a theron elite who has a fucking Retro-Sawed off combo. You can Stab people through the chest, then blow them to bits with this awesome weapon. hot

The sawed off with bayonet seems useless. Combining a CQB weapon with another CQB weapon is just... Still a CQB weapon. I also like how they just blatantly recycled the animation of the Bayonet Charge for RAAM's sword. Like, why would you need to charge people with it to kill them? It would make more sense to use it like a cleaver. It doesn't make sense to me why there are maulers pre-Gears 1, and why they have 'reflective shields' that have been seen nowhere else in the story. It looks kind of neat, but it looks like they're just throwing in inconsistencies for the sake of being cool rather than doing a prequel to Gears 1 that makes any sense.

Epic is dumb for charging Horde DLC.
