I meant like, are there any new features? Like, has more of a goal been created? Is there any type of UI now? Quests or missions of the sort?

You create your own quests/missions. The game's story revolves around the players. For example, as time passes there will be geographical locations that will be named after people. How that location got named depends on what that person did.
Estil also had the idea of making you able to be evil and join AI settlements, if I'm not mistaken.

There are no tools with which to create these missions and quests you speak of. Unless every single goal in the game pertains to defeating the AI, this game will get boring very quickly.

If that's how you feel, don't play it. You don't need tools to make your own missions. The game is so open ended that you, the players create everything in it including the quests. Do I really need to explain how?
I shouldn't be arguing with you about it. I just think that it needs more content.

In this fittingly titled article, "Everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die," Eskil explains his financial situations.

For the record, I am generally in support of independant developers and don't like large developers such as EA, especially developers who focus on graphics over gameplay, such as Bethesda.
um play morrowind or daggerfall and come back to me.

Edit: Paul1290; that is incorrect. You can no longer get a voucher.
Btw, will the friend account system go over into the main game?
A few people were able to get vouchers after the beta closed, but I just checked and it seems you're right.
As for the friend account system, I haven't heard any reason why not. I think the friend account system would be the best way to get people into the game.
If you want to get into the game I highly recommend finding someone who was already in the beta to buddy with or do your research before going in.
If you go in blind you WILL have a tough time and will likely have a miserable first few hours.

While I haven't actually played the game (something which I've wanted to since I saw it in PCgamer), I often visit Eskil's blog.
It's a good read, and he seems like a pretty observant guy.
Yeah, warsheep. He's often oddly inspiring, I've found in the most ordinary updates. Oh, and guys, if you're interested join the forums at the link paul posted, gaminglove.net . There's only a few of us who remain active on it.
Looks ... really... weird and interesting.
Well, just got done playing on Atlanta 1.
A lot of people came in after the release and we had a huge settlement going. Had a few problems with the AI not coping well with the number of people suddenly coming in, but that got fixed just a couple hours ago.
Unfortunately the settlement we had going got bombed to hell by artillery about an hour ago. We just couldn't get that forcefield working well enough in time.
Still, it worked great considering how many of the players in the settlement were new, far better than I had hoped for. I thought there was going to be all manner of problems with griefers and inexperienced players, but it really wasn't that bad at all. We couldn't get much in the way of complex infrastructure setups going, but the extra manpower meant we were able to "super-size" a few things compared to the Beta settlements. We actually had two settlements for a while before getting shelled to death.

I'm creating a group (and already have a few people on board) in setting up a settlement. We still haven't decided which server to play on, but we'll probably play on UK1 if you'd like to join us. Obviously, the dynamics of the game allows everyone to build with us, but the group I've been making will be heavily based around organization.
For some reason my game throws a fit whenever I am near more than two or three players. My FPS drops to around 4 FPS and I lag really bad. And its not like I can't run the game either, I normally get around 35 FPS as long as I'm not by people. So this really just defeats the purpose of the game. I am started to regret subscribing.

Send Eskil an email? He can't fix the problem if you don't tell him.
So how much is it gonna be for each month?
I already sent Eskil an email. Too bad my subscription will most likely be half over by the time he responds though.
So how much is it gonna be for each month?
It's already out so it's currently 10 EU per month. Which is close to $14 USD. Pretty much the same as any other MMO except you don't have to play for the client.

He most likely will not respond directly to you as he gets A LOT of emails daily. Though, updates and such will be going into his Twitters.
Edit: Here's the first review of love!

I'm really tempted to subscribe, it reminds me a lot of Wurm in terms of freedom in building. A bit worried about the lag issues I've been hearing of in game, though.

So there are going to be places called Dick mountain and dick river or even cock valley?
So there are going to be places called Dick mountain and dick river or even cock valley?
No because in-game names are randomly assigned from a list on each server. For example, I am Wason on the Atlanta 1. On UK1 I am Icara. I picked neither; the game procedurally generates what you look like in-game and randomly picks your name.

Really? That in and of itself kind of ruins it for me.
Really? That in and of itself kind of ruins it for me.
Why?
I am lucky and got an awesome name.
Miaplacion.
Also, all names are based off of currently existing Celestial Bodies.
You could get a name like Orion, Taurus, Andromaeda and so on.
Why?
I don't know, I'm not saying it's a bad game; on the contrary the game looks pretty good, and it's worth the fee. I'm just not very keen on having a name or character design chosen for me. I guess it wouldn't be too bad since the names are actually chosen from a pool decent names, and the character designs are... abstract from what I've seen, so I guess there isn't a whole lot of customization there either, but I'd at least like to be able to choose my own name from a list if I had to, and not have it picked out of random from a hat, so to speak.
Maybe I'm just being a little too paranoid, I'll probably still give it a try at any rate.

Paranoid, lol? But yah I can see where you're coming from. It's just supposed to add to the immersion of everything being procedurally generated. (Well the ned aren't procedurally generated but you know what I mean.
So if i buy a voucher i can't play?
