I just tried playing it. But my FPS is erratic. It flickers between 1 - 40 fps. And the sound is dodgy.
It's playable but its too annoying.

Actually, you need a relatively good machine to play this despite how the art style might look. There is so much going on screen at one time, it can result in some fps issues if you don't have a decent computer.
Well it's running better after the last update. So it's playable.
It's a good game. I like it a lot.
Is there a trial currently available for the game? I've watched a few videos and it seems like I'd enjoy it.

Currently, there is not. But, there is a buddy system you can take advantage of. Just go visit the [url]www.gaminglove.net[/url] forums and post away. I'm sure there will be someone who will lend you a buddy account.
Can someone post a picture of their random character so I can see what the characters look like?

This does look pretty awesome, the only thing that keeps me from telling my friends is because of it's name. I'm gonna have to fight my way past the name to be able to actually tell them what the game is about.

I played it in beta. I got bored of it in a few days. Wasn't very fun, and not nearly as intuitive as they say it is.
