So every time you say you love something you're a girl?
No. It's just the name. Can't it be something cool like, 'BEARKILLER' or 'DEATHSCAPE'. Love. Just doesn't sound manly enough.
Whoa, looks awesome! Can't wait 'till it comes out.
Time to look up some private servers...
Time to look up some private servers...
Haha, this game is FAR from being released. Have fun trying to find private servers. Also, I bet they threw all that other crap in there to distract you from the horrible art style or make it seem good.

I just wish more people appreciated the content of games over the graphical value. It's really quite odd if you think about it.
At first, I was expecting something related to sex. Of Course, I came in surprised.
Wait a second. There seems to be little to no information on this game at all - the screenshots sketchy at best (forgive the pun). Before anybody gets excited about it or anything, perhaps there's a video or something? Not just plain hype?
I'm somewhat excited about this game. The developer seems to really know his shit - he made like four other development tools just to make this game so not only is he making everything from scratch, he's making it in programs that he made from scratch. The art style looks cool, I'm just hoping it stays that way in motion and isn't just painful/confusing.
It isn't too loving to make someone pay monthly fees.
I don't like the art style, when i saw the pictures i thought i was high. Seriously.

There's little to no information on most previewed games, but because they're from well known developers, it's all right to get hyped? But if it's an indie-developer, oh god forbid. Edit: I'm slightly so depressed that the call for ultra-realism for games has made so many people only expect that, and hate on anything that's different or exciting. Edit:
Looks very neat. First game I've really looked forward to in a while.
Only a matter of time until you popped up. :v: Edit:
It isn't too loving to make someone pay monthly fees.
Isn't it too selfish to expect an indie-developer to pay for the server costs all by himself.
My god, this game sounds like Wurm and looks like an acid trip. Can't wait for this.
GDC08 video: http://www.massively.com/2008/02/26/gdc08-when-love-came-to-town/ Quality isn't good because they're recording the guy playing on a laptop with a glossy screen. :|
You know You know You know You know You know... You know You know.
You know You know You know You know You know... You know You know.
I was about to post the same thing, you know.
You know, this, you know, looks better than, you know, Spore.
The first two screenshots looked cool enough... But what the fuck are those two things in the third picture? Seriously, what the fuck are they?

Normally developers are excited about what they're doing and like to keep a log, but I didn't see one. Something just seems off about this project, and I was trying to express my skepticism. That's no reason to start stereotyping me and try to make me look like something I'm not. It really pisses me off that you tried to slander me because of this. For the record, I am generally in support of independant developers and don't like large developers such as EA, especially developers who focus on graphics over gameplay, such as Bethesda. I don't hate things that are new or different, in fact I rather like to see different games in the industry. Now, I found this project fishy because I saw a few screenshots, a few planned features, and information about development tools. There's little to no information about it. I'm starting to wonder if this game is going to be like many indie games or mods, stalling half-way or quarter-way or fifth-way to completion. How much of this project is real, and how much is hype? That is all I was trying to say.
Read this on BoingBoing, was pretty hyped. Edit: FELT pretty hyped, I mean.
Bumping this because of these cool new videos Gameplay video showing off some cool mechanics http://www.quelsolaar.com/love/gameplay_video.html And one about the tools they have to make love.. I mean Love http://www.quelsolaar.com/love/tool_video.html I think I will enjoy this
Shit, my first name is Eskil. Was so confused when i read this D:
"The technology behind Love means that the game is editable like nothing we've seen before. Eskil points his mouse at a wall and clicks - then stretches the terrain back and forth, terraforming at will. Then he fires a gun at the side of a wall and it's blown away - digging a cave into the side of a cliff. He then trots through this tunnel, dropping into pastures on the far side.

I sometimes get bored though. I want game development to be fun." He presses a button, and the pouch breaks apart into vector lines. Then a triangular space-ship steams in, under Eskil's control. The art package is gone. All that's left is a game of Asteroids.
I seriously thought that i must had a double life or split personalities. But then i lol'd.

Does that say procedurally generated? I think I'm in love.
Ok you sure got me excited, when is a playable version (Beta?) coming out?
I think my head would hurt after playing this for more than 30 mins. I will pass
Shiiiit, I forgot about this. Coolio bump ZomBuster.
