PC GAMER UK previewed it last year and loved it, so you can expect atleast one positive review.

I hope so. I know for sure that IGN has some big idiots when it comes to reviewers (few of them are, but they are still too many).
Heck it seems that if you don't pay them they won't dish out a positive vote sometimes.
This looks so awesome....
The potential gameplay opportunities are endlessly...intriguing, for lack of a better word! I love that whole infrastructure demonstration, and the city with the defenses. Very cool.
I wonder, can you just have a world where you and your friends can make big cities and such?

If you could make your own server you could.

This, sadly for the developer, has huge scope for private servers, unless he's clever and allows a friends-only sandbox type thing, ala private freemode in GTA IV included into the sub-fee.

The combat is PvE only and you can have more than one person own a city. So I don't get why you'd want a private server.
I like the whole system of radio frequencies to connect different devices together. You could probably put together some pretty interesting traps with it.
This looks great. The terrain isn't really innovative but it could be a grind free Wurm style game if done right.

Or sabotage someone else's.
just a few questions I was wondering if anyone knew/was speculating about.
He said its around 200 player per server- will your progress be saved upon logout? Items?
Also unless the world is MUCH larger then what hes letting on, what is stopping players from ganging up and utterly eliminating the NPCs from the map?
I know there is building restrictions, but what is stopping players from continuously hammering every city they come across until it falls?
I'm also curious as to what is actually gained from destroying an NPC city other then the immediate removal of said enemy from the area..hmmmm
Oh wow he programmed those modeling tools etc. by himself? :O

perhaps there isn't anything stopping you.. perhaps its your choice.
I wouldn't bet on that though.

The NPC city's come back as the world changes.
Destroying NPC cities is supposed to be another way to get tokens to build more structures in addition to removing them from the world temporarily.
Also, the NPCs don't just sit there, they attack the players too, so the players will be on the defensive as well.

This game looks badass.. - the ass
i watched the gameplay video, graphics looks alot cooler in motion (looks kinda crap on OP screens) and gmod+darwinia gameplay should be alot of fun.
Looks pretty cool, and those modeling tools are godlike.
Bumpity bump

Poetic stuff about his life and hints at an open beta (!)
Wow, just looking through the tools n' stuff that he's coded, or worked on. The ideas are simply amazing. Streamlined content creation in real-time functionality. Brilliant.
Love looks really fun too.
The tools video made me go :byodood: and :psyboom:
this gamew is vapour ware FYI it was an april fool joke
so this guy is making love by himself?
Holy shit.
I can't really make out what the game will be like from the videos, but I can tell that it's very different.
I will definitely try this and I really hope I will enjoy it.

Vaporware that releases technical demonstrations, gameplay/development videos, and development tools?
That's some pretty kickass vaporware then.
He posted some tech stuff on the blog
