3$? Oh I'll probably be playing by tonight in that case. I was thinking it was 10$ for 30 days on just the beta. I'm assuming this is one of those games that will start everyone back at 0 when it's out of beta. I would be pissed to have dropped like 40$ on this game just to lose any progress I might of had.

So can someone explain to me their experience from when they started playing to now, I don't fully understand what Love really is.
From what I just played I cannot tell, I did not even find a token and every player I found killed me. :crying:
Players don't kill you, there are mobs around the map that will kill you. When you first join a server you either make or join a settlement, though keep in mind that there is a limited amount of settlements that are allowed on each server so the chances are you're off to join an existing one. Once you find a settlement you are able to find and collect tokens that you can use to create structures around your settlement. Structures include a number of things such as elevators, doors, grenades, power lines, and so on. Settlements [i]can[/i] be destroyed though so don't get too comfy with your current settlment location unless you know you have some good defenses.
That's about all I gathered from the time I was playing.
Edit: Oh and a quick tip, there are certain bombs you can get that can destroy terrain. Just keep that in mind when you see a settlement that is seemingly impossible to get to.

When you create an account with a voucher code, you get a "Friend Account" bar that you can add a login and password to. This account has no game time, but it is playable while the [b]paying[/b] account is logged in. If the paying/original account quits the game, so does the friend account.
I'm not sure I like the system, but it's a new... "Way" of trials, I suppose.
[b]Edit:[/b] Oh, but there's also "referrals," which means when you start an account, you give the account name of someone else, and they get an extra day of playtime or so.

Yea, I realize, I guess the server I registered to didn't want to work for the 5 hours I had been sitting there thinking the game was broken, then I just not tried it. I must say, it is thoroughly confusing. I hope to get a little more into it tomarrow.
I would love to play on a friend account. I don't want to spend money on a game that might be a dud. I'll do the same as Luke of course. If I don't like it I'll give it back. If I like and use the account however, when I buy my time I'll use my friend account on one of your friends.

Ahaha, alright, that makes more sense then.
The game is great fun, it's kinda like a massively multiplayer online tower defense map, like those flash games or the WC3 maps. I'm sorry but I've actually already given away both my account and my friend account (See my previous post on the graphics card bug we're getting) but if I get them back soon, I'll PM them to some lucky beggar in this thread.

Remember that the "arrow" is pointing towards the U shape, not the little line. That confused me and some others earlier.
Managed to find a settlement, and it's telling me to press a number to place the token in the tool slot but i press a number and nothing happens?
I found a config token, then someone else used it to activate the power manufacture thingie, then it started pooping out energy pills. :fuckyou:
And now I blew it up
