Now thats a worthy sexbot. Unlike new vegas.
That honestly depends on your proclivities but whutevs. Anyway, I read on the Wiki that Kalasha's voice talent will be inspired by Cpl. Ray Person of the HBO miniseries Generation Kill. I am wondering at this time whether her characterization will also be anywhere near as aggressively unlikeable as that of the Corporal's.
Dude fuck you Ray is the coolest guy on earth. [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] you could say he is the coolest person on earth
Hahaha. Aha. Ha. No. There was no point during all seven parts of the entire mini-series that I didn't want to see everyone involved die by way of a shrapnel wound inflicted by IED. The only members of 1st Recon that have it coming more are Trombley and that racist motherfucker. Seriously.

Whoa dude
Whats to like? It's essentially watching a bunch of incompetent psychopathic man-children oo-rahing and fist-bumping their way across a war-torn Iraq in one of the most shameful and disgusting displays of military incompetence and unprofessionalism I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. There isn't even really any catharsis factor of watching these terrible people suffer. It was supposed to follow a generation raised on video games and violent movies in to war, with predictable results. I honestly have to say that I am surprised by precisely none of what I see, and that's what makes it so pathetic. How can I be expected to empathize with and get to like idiots, sociopaths and war criminals?
Whats to like?
It's well shot and edited, the cast is excellent and David Simon and Ed Burns are some of the best screenwriters of all time. Other than that I dunno
Okay, you have a point. It IS remarkably well shot and well acted, but it doesn't have a single likable character in it though that may be more the result of the subject material they were working with. It is therefore impossible for me to have any investment in the continued well-being of the characters and in fact has gotten so bad to be at the point where I am actively rooting for almost all of 1st Recon to die. I'm not blaming either Simon or Burns for any of this, but Person's an ignorant, buck-toothed, jack-assed, inbred, shit-kicking cock-sucking fuckwit. To illustrate my point: "Dear Frederick, thank you for your nice letter. But I'm actually a US Marine who was born to kill, where you have clearly mistaken me for some sort-of wine sipping communist dick suck. And although peace probably appeals to tree-loving-bisexuals like you and your parents, I happen to be a death-dealing, blood-crazed warrior who wakes up everyday just hoping for the chance to dismember my enemies and defile their civilizations. Peace sucks a hairy asshole Freddie, war is the mother-fucking answer." - Cpl. Josh Ray Person Now I know what you're thinking, and yes I'm pretty sure he was just being funny in the scene where he says that. Thing is, I don't care. He deserves to die. They ALL deserve to die. Actually, it's only now that I realize it's a credit to the series that it has characters that inspire such strong emotions in me, although I'm fairly sure not the emotions they originally intended. I mean, look at me. Here I am talking about these guys as if they are real people. I know it was based off real events, but shit. That must be some DAMN good acting and writing to get me this fired up, right? Whup, scratch that one. I do actually like Meesh so egg on my face I guess. He can live.
i have not seen generation kill and I'm asking you both to shut up
Holy fuck I completely forgot I was on this mod.
stripperbot to the rescue http://www.jaanus.cc/pictures/2010-12-30_0503.swf
Is it just me, or do those things remind me of the new model androids from I Robot? Seeing it running like that brings back memories of that movie. Are these stripperbots going to be exclusively for atmosphere or are they actually going to fill a combat role?
I think "they need to look like the robots from I Robot" actually was the first thing I said in the dev chat when we started discussing the stripper.
Ah, fuck I missed that. My bad :( Will they be similarly able and/or under the control of an evil computerized entity?
the lighting on the stripperbot is nice
stripperbot to the rescue http://www.jaanus.cc/pictures/2010-12-30_0503.swf
I don't want to click that .swf stripper bot link, I might get a virus.
Are those jiggleboobs I see? My mind is trying to wrap itself around the physics of the matter, unless the stripper bot is plated with a plastic flesh analogue?
"Jaanus you magnificent bastard, what is this?" you might ask it is a mystery

It looks a lot more defined and better irl
