I meant, animation rig. A CAT rig to be exact. And contrary to what you may think, it does not involve cats.

Can characters be scaled within the Source engine? or must their size be determined during the creation of the model/skeleton?

If you want one for animation. Then go into your sourcesdk_content folder. There are some TF2 rigs to get started with.

I know, I can just import the reference smd but I want an actual rig w/ proper modifers, not just some bones.
CAT rigs are easy as hell, you just need to snap it to the bone.
Why do most people manually select move, rotate etc, theres keyboard quickkeys
