Flamethrowers will be perfect for those oxygen-rich space ship environments! Even more so in the vacuum of space!

This is the future. E.g.: it's a plasmathrower... or something?

needs some TFTG art style to it. ask csp499 or something for a quick ass sketch which builds on what you have now
I don't see how it doesn't fit the artstyle.

Mudbox, Cinema 4D, and 3D Studio Max

csp499 designed that flamethrower anyway didn't he?

From your personal experience, which one is the easiest to pick up and start learning off of? I plan to do just that until I get a knack for it and can actually prove useful for mods like this one in the future :buddy:
Cinema 4D is awesome and waaaay more intuitive than 3ds max but hardly anyone uses it. It also doesn't have a way to UV models as far as I know. 3DS Max, in my opinion, has a terrible UI and is glitchy as fuck. Mudbox is great for sculpting, but can't do lowpolies.
Also, I don't really know much about traditional modelling and barely know my way around any of those programs except Mudbox.

also I used ZBrush for the low-poly retopologizing of the high-poly head. It's quite handy, but the UI is also confusing (to me).
Cinema 4D actually has a sister application called Bodypaint 3D that can be used for UV mapping and painting on models. I don't know how it works though.

for those who cant see it
The propane thrower. Painthrower? Panethrower? Just call it a regular Flamethrower?
Question is how does he acquire the weapon. Does he just find it or does he build it himself?

This changes everything. :wth: Thanks for pointing that out.

Your mom.

I like the Panethrower. It fits between a reference and an original idea.
Guys, come on. That is so lame.
Call it the HHPPA97
It's still a King of the hill reference, but is extremely more lame and harder to understand.
Call it "I burn faces" and shut up about hills

it's a slow process, but i imagine it's like that in any other program.
