Re: voice acting, the priority list for things we look for in a VA goes something like this:
1. Mic fidelity
2. Voice timbre
3. Acting ability
4. Specific accents
So "I have x accent" isn't really something to go by all by itself.

1. I have an expensive studio mic
2. Dunno what voice timbre is but i have a pretty nice talking voice (not to be arrogant)
3. I'm one of those guys that spends a great deal of time doing voices so I have a decent range of 'characters'
4. Yeah lots of accents. Scottish (native), Various English, Northern (i think) Irish, Various American, French, Russian, Asian.. the one fucker I can't really get right that well is German. I do a great Boston accent imo.
Any kind of British will be good later on in the mod, but right now our VA roster is suffering from an overabundance of 17-25 year old middle class white dudes. Right now what we need most of all is someone who can sound like a 50 year old grizzled pirate, and so far everyone who has thought they could hasn't been very convincing. Not to mention for every character we have to design and create and rig a new character model, and write lines for it.
So yeah we'll probably have VA stuff for you to do later on, but at the moment we have, how you say, different needs
Maybe he can do the testimonials that play (just recordings, with the ad) when you press use on an advertisement.
