Bada Bang?
it's the club
Who is he exactly?
he's a clone soldier [editline]12:09AM[/editline]
Ok, that is just awesome.
that looks like one awkward party
If I were to make a good quality poster, would there be some chance of it being included? For example, a Pepsi-like competitor equivalent of Dark Matter.
Are there any plans for giving them teeth? Right now they look like creepy old men. And fedoras. They need fedoras.

Damn, the Mafia guys with glasses look damn stylish. And the damned fedoras would be damned awesome. Damn right!
I'm not liking the new flashlight, it seems too solid
what new flashlight
Is this cool stuff on the SVN?
yeah
Yay
I've just played through the latest build. Was fun as hell, can't wait for more. The first part of the level is still far too hard and I think I know why. Mooks seem to have far too much health (at least, for the weapons you have available at the time) and their SMG's seem to do either too much damage or fire too fast. I'd reckon fixing any one of those problems would balance it out just right.

Mooks will pile up against doors, grouping up so tight that you can kill one and his flailing body will kill at least two others, and you can just keep closing it if you need some time to regenerate health.
I'm not liking the new flashlight, it seems too solid
thanks for your feedback but it was a test ok calm down
try gal_mook_ console commands to tweak it. Let me know what settings suit best and I'll make them default.
gal_mook_health 25 gal_mook_simple_health 25 Seemed just about right. Perhaps 30 if you find that too easy. I also found out what the problem was. It wasn't the SMGs they were just about right. It was that damn Scorpion pistol that two of them have, it kicks far too much ass right now to be given to NPCs. [editline]asf[/editline] Definitely the scorpion pistol. At such a close range they can easily get headshots on you (about 45-50 damage) and two headshots (or one and two normal shots) from it is enough to either kill you or leave you so weak that a single shot more will.

You just have to be a bit.. creative is all.

Cigars, they need cigars.
They look like owls
I believe I just found a flaw in the test level. You know this motherfucker? It turns out, if you don't kill him, this will happen: This (as I assume) glitch will save you plenty of time from dealing with the five Mooks that rappel down in the proceeding area.
as requested by jaanus a thing or two didn't behave like it should have (the head of the donny to the left shouldn't be looking at the second one from the beginning, and apparently a few gestures didn't play, i need to look at this issue) oh and the phoneme flexes are REALLY weird, they barely move the mouths at all [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ7it2rI0mw[/hd] the VCD is over here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3797350/files/galactopticon_gtfowts.vcd i'd go as far as making custom dialogue animations personally, the valve default ones are a bit too calm for the style I think
A simple trigger_once or trigger_proximity could fix that.
-snip i'm an idiot-
as requested by jaanus a thing or two didn't behave like it should have (the head of the donny to the left shouldn't be looking at the second one from the beginning — and the eyebrow flexes could use some more exaggeration) oh and the phoneme flexes are REALLY weird, they barely move the mouths at all [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ7it2rI0mw[/hd] the VCD is over here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3797350/files/galactopticon_gtfowts.vcd
the way he points at the end is awesome
I've always found it a litt odd that the thugs refer to eachother as "bro" They're gangsters. Not gangstas.
I've always found it a litt odd that the thugs refer to eachother as "bro" They're gangsters. Not gangstas.
then again I don't think TFTG wants to portray clan relationships realistically
