Any reason why when I run the game the main menu runs at like 1 frame every 8-10 seconds? Like I couldn't even browse menus they took so long to load simple actions.
It also said 'Node graph out of date. Updating...' for about 3 minutes.

I can run every major source game on all high and get about 45-60fps from it and on a 32" 1920x1080 display.

I added -dxlevel 80 to my launch options and it worked fine.
Do you want me to list my hardware or any thing to see if it's a bug or anything? My computer usually runs source games amazingly well without forcing DX8.
