looks great but maybe a bit too low poly, although I doubt you'll get close enough in game to ever notice. Could we get the tri count and a wireframe?
polycount is 893 I believe Wireframe of the lowpoly over the highpoly
This mod looks amazing.
when are you guys going to model/draw the main villain? I am so curious
LOL hi guys, i´m new here and i´m helping to texture the Mastiff. here is at 75% or so, have to do specular maps and start to detail the diffuse :)
Well now we've got a problem. Since there are different people doing textures for the guns, they aren't all going to have consistent quality and style. For example, the way the mastiff is done looks totally different from the texture that was being done for the johnny gun a few pages back.
Well he'll just have to do that as well because those maps looks awesome. :v:

cool
What the fuck is going on with his chin in that picture? I hate you.
It's because of lack of detail and thanks babe. Also I agree the scratches on the tex are really bad. Flat surfaces tend to not get scratched while the corners get beat the fuck up. Also, scratching edges helps to bring out the shapes of the model better. I think it would be worthwile to put a few more polygons into the head to better define the ears. Right now it seems like it isn't getting enough space on the UV, so to compensate some real depth would make the diffuse/norm look better. What's the polycount on it? If you really consider it done, don't bother. These are details that are more minor in the grand scheme of things if you feel other things could benefit from the time. Just posten my opinion on how it can be made better.
Well Diwako was making a pretty sweet texture but his HDD shat itself and died.
Sorry abou' that. :C

For a first, it looks awesome. For future reference I'd also recommend trying to put some more detail into the ears with the high poly, which would require sculpting it a bit differently to get more geo there in the first place or one more subdivision. And to me it seems like it's triangulating strangely in some places. Did you check how it triangulated?
You should make Galactopticon: Crash Edition, where everything uses the high-poly models.

That is seriously cool.

epic win blood and scratch brushes pack for photoshop i can make anything look cool
epic win blood and scratch brushes pack for photoshop i can make anything look cool
I can't even use it properly let alone make a badly done texture
The real pros make their own brushes :v: I use my own handy dandy square brush.
He's just grizzled
No, it's the wrinkles and bags under his eyes that make him look old. Without those he'd look just angry.
Sorry, those scratches look really bad. Plus it shouldn't be painted like that, It should be silver.
Whole gun should be silver? Well currently I made the textures based on nothing, just the name of the gun.
