Oh, so I wasn't too far off. They remind me of the Bio Menace slugs, actually. Like... a lot.

Funnily enough, I don't have a scanner, so I took a photo of my humble little drawing, and ironically, the one where I accidentally covered the flash with my finger came out the best looking. I'm thinking about actually colouring it in GIMP or something...

Use massively high-poly models with vertices that wobble around randomly, and unnecessarily over-phong the textures

I don't know who is in charge of doing the particle effects, but I do have some criticism/tips for them:
-Use the "Sequence Random" Initializer when using particles such as the character burning or smoke
-Don't use smokesprites_0001. Use smoke1 and use the sequence random initializer. Alternatively, use the vistasmoke texture and make sure it animates by setting "animation rate" to 1, and "animation_fit_Lifetime" to 1.
-If you don't want sprite over-draw to occur, use the smoke1_nearcull texture. The nearcull versions fade as you get really close to it, which works very well for smoke.
-Don't use the "Lifespan Decay" operator if you are also using the "Alpha Fade out random" operator. Instead, use the "Alpha Fade and Decay" operator.
-For small particles such as debris, use the "collisions via traces" constraint with the collision group set to DEBRIS. This allows particles to collide, bounce off of, and slide on props and static parts of the world.

Do I need to have Half Life 2 installed for make this thing work? I just recently deleted all my source games, aside from TF2 and Left 4 Dead.
