This is my contestant, which, for the lack of a better name, i shall call the Triworm:

At first i just picked a bot that looked cool but was absolutely terrible at survival, then i started an empty pool with lots of food and hand-bred them until they could survive on their own. I left the pool running for a few hours and then saved the most interesting specimens that evolved. This was one of them.

Does anyone else's long thing ones just spaz out and curl around and shit when they're swimming? It makes keeping them hard because they spaz out instead of eating.
Yeah, the long snake-like ones seem to be better at moving in a straight line while using the least energy, but they can't turn worth a damn.

The spazbots apparently aren't fucking, in fact it looks like they are trying to get away from eachother. The Boxers are engaged in a massive orgy, a couple have been raped to death while looking for food.

Surprisingly some of the oldest virgins in my last pool were the most efficient, in both swim speed and maneuverability. They just had the misfortune of being born far away from everything else. :C

Darwin gene pool livestream creature competition. Imagine if something like that actually caught on and became popular. The game would need to be updated a bit, it's kind of bland right now. A predator and prey game element would make this much more interesting.
It'd be good to have some sort of predator system to prune the spazbots who become dominant by continuously fucking their children.
I guess I'll do a 1 vs 1 with bloodbot and esprestos then pebcaks swimbots, but does anyone know of a good image capture software so I can save and capture pictures instantly?
Some three-limbed critters have popped up in my pool. They're highly maneuverable and surprisingly mobile, and I've even caught them swimming in reverse.
Does this continue even when off because it seems to...

I think I've finally generated a winner, a long, straight energy efficient one, though 50% tend to be unable to turn (but not all, like most pseudo-snakes)

My DNA file? :smug: No-one gets it until they beat it. And again, Do you or anyone else know of a good image capture software that captures the current window I'm in so I can do these competitions already? I googled it but only found really crappy ones that are probably virus-riddled.
