Bot's have moved on a lot since then. There are a lot more options when it comes to botting now, and a lot more things that you can bot. They haven't gone, they've just moved.

Only reason they are considering bringing it back is because they didn't ban the botters, therefore they overran the game. They ruined their own game and this is a horrible attempt to try to save it.

Hey guys, there are these supposed 'leaks' going around from Mod Osbourne, personally I don't believe them because they say totally different things. One I have seen says that the poll was successful already, the other says it was fake, so goggle something like 'runescape mod osbourne leaks' and see what you think.
On the runescape forums, someone has made about 13 points on the poll being fake, and how the leak is fake.
Anyways, keep voting just in case.
I'm just suspicious of how vague they're being about how many votes they need.
I wouldn't put it past them to have some kind of ulterior motive to this.
