The 'medium' dungeons are stupidly big though - we did one and it took over an hour, then switched to 'small' and completed two in half an hour. And got more xp. Lols.

The fastest way for Dungeoneering XP is to "key" or something like that. You are always on 6 complexity, not sure about size. You have to reset your floor count every time you run out of prestige to get or you get dramatically less xp. Also the level requirements for items are not equal to the actual time you can get them, because you need enough tokens to buy them.
