agreed, cod4 was actually a lot of fun.
I don't know if I'm over-playing or what, but in the past week I've gained about a 100 various levels, 4 combat levels, 7 treasure trails, gained 37 quest points, plus made around a mil, but spent a lot of it. All of it was 100% legit.
SO I played this game again for the first time in two years. I went and did my old range training at the aviansies. Addy bars sure have come up in price.

Well sorry for playing Runescape across several users for nearly 8 years, and wanting to try something new within the last week..
I have used botting for one thing, and one thing only. Mining rune essence. Im stockpiling it to get my RC up. Sorry for taking the fun of countless hours of mining rune essence just to waste on low level runescrafting, didnt know that was fun for you?
But yeah, we should stop to bot talk. There are people who only want to legit play this game, like I have for 7 or so years.
On another note.. There is something I have always thought about doing
Its like a charity for runescape, but it cant really be a charity.
I like to call it, light up the Grand Exchange.
Probably may have guessed it, but I aim to get enough people to fill every square of one side of the G.E, and burn logs, all at the same time, across to the other side.
To try and have the whole place on fire.
Theres two ways to think about it.
The "charity" way
Or burning down teh grand exchange because it ruined the economy, and merchanting, and all that.
What do you guys think of that idea?

Just because you don't agree with botting doesn't give you the right to tell people not to talk about it. Love got demodded for a reason, he would ban out of personal grudges and ban people for discussing topics he didn't agree with, just like botting.
Keeping in mind I have 'played' runescape for longer than any of you and while I do not play or bot now, I help develop rsbot and I'm currently making my own. So I'm not being one sided here.
As for the 'ruining the game' bullshit argument, it's not ruining your experience just because someone doesn't want to spend 1000+ hours doing a task they can assign software to do. If you want to do that then good on you, shouldn't make a difference just because someone didn't spend time doing it themselves.
And it also says a lot about the game if people would rather let software play it for them, right?

When I go to other MMO threads, they're not filled with people talking about botting/CHEATING. And that is how I want this thread.

People dont bot in games like WoW and games that they hafto buy for like 30$. Runescape is like 6$ member, if they get banned they can just make a new acc. It makes me sad that theres no IP Banns :/ But botters would pass it anyway.

You play to an extant. But when you spend 100+ hours hitting the same tree, its not exactly enjoyable.
Though i got 1700~ total before i began to bot. When kbot died i started "playing" properly again using the money i made from botting, and now i have alot of fun doing slayer, which isnt monotonous like the majority of the skills people commonly bot.

You don't see other threads with bot discussion because their bots for that game aren't "well" known. Also I'm sure they would have better protection about those things.
