They're fucking beautiful. I notice that Steam is differentiating between Portal 2 and Portal 2 pre-order, that likely means that preorderers will be getting stuff. I just hope it's an exclusive skin. When Left 4 Dead 2 did a preorder bonus, Gamestop got the Baseball bat, and so did the Steam preorders, so maybe we'll get skins. Please be the amazon ones, please.

The best option is to just wait it out for a while until shit settles down and we get some hard facts about whats going on.

Just rename the vtf's when it's released?

If I can only have one, I'd rather have the Amazon skin.

Pay to play all the games you want (limited of course) for a certain amount of hours. I'm almost certain they would have Portal 2 there. Unless internet cafes are different in your location.

Don't they get them for free but pay a monthly fee?

I can't believe people are complaining about a new game being $45 (if pre-ordered) and if you and your buddy buy, $40, when you get a full length game made by a reputable dev AND Portal 1 for free.

Half of facepunch is too young to work, a quarter are probably jobless and the other quarter probably can't afford to just hand out $50. You could probably just email Gabe and ask for a free copy of portal 2. You never know, he may just give it to you.
