Here's a little opportunity for the EU Tier1 users: All my friends have already preordered Portal 2, and I want to spare some money, so I'm going to buy a 2-pack. It costs 61€ (81€ for Tier 1), and you only need to give me 30€ in order to get Portal 2, so that you can spare 15€. In order to be "trusted", you need to be registered before 2010 September and have at least 400 posts (might do exception if known alt). You need to have a Paypal account to give me the money. PM me if you're interested. Before you say it's a scam, you need to understand the we (the sender and the receiver) both take risks. The sender could ask Paypal to refund the money, making me pay the other 30€ and possibly get my (and his) account disabled, and I could (but I won't) just keep the money for myself/not send the game.
Yeah nobody has been disabled, superdino is full of shit.
Odd because I was just disabled too...
You also need to send me a screencap of the Steam Store page with your name written somewhere (e.g: Notepad), so that I can be sure that a Tier 1 Facepuncher can get this opportunity. And being a "celebrity" (No offense, but what the fuck is STS) didn't save Drunken Fool.

It's exactly what it sounds like, except it's not an actual server as much as it is a community service (I don't know why it's called a 'server', exactly).
All day, and nothing happened to me. Yeah it was a hoax. If your account did get disabled, it was for some other reason.
All day, and nothing happened to me. Yeah it was a hoax. If your account did get disabled, it was for some other reason.
Mine was re-enabled. Basically they only disabled you if you were in the Portal 2 chat and were reported by a bunch of crybaby steam users.
Mine was re-enabled. Basically they only disabled you if you were in the Portal 2 chat and were reported by a bunch of crybaby steam users.
Okay that makes a bit more sense. Really though, what an absurd reason to disable an account.

Steampowered forum users are literally the worst community I've seen

-snip because I realized I don't qualify-
The two player pack was really a fitting Valentine's day gift.
The two player pack was really a fitting Valentine's day gift.
And Valve's Portal 2 trailer they released on Valentine's day was hilarious too. "Women love diamonds for their wide range of industrial applications!"
Gifting Portal to someone is the hardest thing ever. Everybody in the galaxy owns it.
Gifting Portal to someone is the hardest thing ever. Everybody in the galaxy owns it.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Valve gave Portal away for free last year. (That's how I got Portal)

-snip- I can't wait for when this is released.
If anyone is up for buying two pack together, add me on Steam. I will send you 40 bucks via Paypal [editline]20th February 2011[/editline] Also I have my Paypal verified and my Steam account is registered in 2004 Jan.
So, I ordered the PS3 version from Amazon today which means I'll be getting a physical copy for the PS3. Firstly, will I get a disc with the PC version on it? (Unlikely, I know.) And is there a way I can download it now?

That's kind of annoying, due to my retarded download speed and download cap. So, can I pre-load it? I somehow pre-loaded CS:S before without doing anything, so I assume it's possible.

I wonder if it's possible to play the PC version of Portal 2 together with someone playing on the Xbox 360 version
It's not.
