most tanks are colossal dickheads.
Glad I don't see that much of other tanks then
had a stratholme group yesterday and we were at that boss who mind controls people. i got mind controlled, everyone turned around and nuked me and killed me, tank rages at me for dying and leaves the group. we still killed the boss. then to top it off, the replacement tank we got in asked if we could do a quest for killing some boss. we tell him the boss is already dead and that we can't, he freaks out, pulls half the fucking instance and gets us all killed then leaves the group

Luckily it was easy to tank and we got another healer pretty much instantly.
Most tanks are arseholes because they think they're doing a you a huge favour for simply playing the game. Yeah, Tanking is trickier than most, but not all roles, but the unwarranted superiority makes me want to choke all of the cunts with their mothers g-strings.
heals are the ones that really run the group, don't let them tell you otherwise
as tank, i let cc run the group i even let them pull
in my experience, Healers at lower levels don't speak up enough for themselves. The amount of times I've had to tell the tank to let the healer get some mana is countless. the rare times i actually healed low level dungeons, the tank pulls when I'm not at a mana level im not happy with, he dies. simple as.
So how do I time CC in heroics? Do I wait for the CCer to start casting before I pull, or do I hope they're not retarded and CC the correct target? Because I've had more than one group where I pull, and the marked target comes but another unmarked target isn't in the group and is easily CCable, but the CCer still tries to CC the target that I'm busy attacking
mark the cc. for a hunter cc let him/her trap the target then pick up the mobs as they pull. for rogues let them sap and return to where your party is standing before pulling for caster cc (sheep, fear, etc) just start to move forward and the caster will begin to CC as you pull.

What would be a good wand upgrade for me? I am pretty close to a 340 item level, but my 318 wand is pulling that way down. From research online it seems like it would be the drop from Cookie in heroic VC, but I have terrible luck with heroic PUGs. My character: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/burning-blade/medinut/simple
cookies wand is the best easily available one or corla in h blackrock caverns
I got 5 Justice Points for a daily. I only need to do the same daily for 200 days in a row and I'll have enough to buy something!
So I was buying mounts to get the achievement (and mount) for owning 50 mounts. And then I realized "What the fuck am I doing, I already have my favorite mount, I won't even use the dumb albino drake"
Found a great group of people doing some dungeons the last few hours, did the first 4 that are available for us a couple of times and everything went well. Much better than the pug from hell that involved the tank wearing cloth shoulderpads and running in doing 9 dps on about 5 targets. He was in crusader aura the whole time, too.
ah yes the crusading cloth tankiduspussium, quite a funny little creature indeed

We were on the part with the 4 final bosses, and I pulled the mobs in front the boss and the warlock goes in and pulls the boss and leaves and then we wiped. :( [editline]28th January 2011[/editline]
in my experience, Healers at lower levels don't speak up enough for themselves. He'd like run up to a pack hit them once then run on the next with his back turned to the mobs. He couldn't hold aggro for shit. And he was near impossible to heal because I couldn't ever stop to cast. So glad I haven't gotten that guy again. [editline]28th January 2011[/editline] Lol I just remembered how that tank pulled two group then pulled the boss and we wiped. After wiping he pulled the boss again when the 3 dps players weren't even caught up yet. I think we somehow managed to kill the boss that time.
i think im going to switch my ret spec to prot, i used to be prot in wrath and liked it a lot so i think i might go back [editline]28th January 2011[/editline] can someone lend me around 50k gold so i can buy a tank set off the AH
trying to level my hunter up, he's 72 right now. damn northrend is a lot worse the second time.
trying to level my hunter up, he's 72 right now. damn northrend is a lot worse the second time.
that's what ive been sayin this whole time. While BC isn't that great, at least you dont feel worse doing itthe second, third, or fourth time. then northrend owns the first time and is the worst place the second time and just gets worse and worse

I used to hate outland but after doing it 3 times I have found a route that takes me just a couple days to steamroll through. Hellfire to 64 -> Zangar to 66 -> Nagrand to 68 -> gtfo.
Northrend for the 7th time is still better than playing shitty outland imo.
Outland gets better after Hellfire, but only slightly.
trying to level my hunter up, he's 72 right now. damn northrend is a lot worse the second time.
yeh, my paladin is at 74 in zul'drak, was allot more fun the first time.
Outland gets better after Hellfire, but only slightly.
No. Hellfire is one of the better zones in Outland. It's all lame though now.

no but seriously i prefer outland to northrend
Nagrand > all. Looks purty and tons of quests.
