My first ever character was a paladin, got him to 70 throughout the years then abandoned him on Nagrand.
I play horde on Khadgar, is it worth spending £35 transferring him over to the server and then to horde to level my old guy? I feel obligated ..

Trying to gift WoW to my friend, I'm confused. I did the digital download, put in my details and it got to the stage where I had to place the order and it didn't tell me anything about gifting. I didn't place the order. What do I do to gift this to my friend?

Digital Download sucks. When i did that i fucking had to pay even more for a month of playing.

Why didn't you just buy it at a CD key seller? 10£ is a ripoff.
Digital download is okay if you don't have a connection that gets throttled when you spend to much time downloading-- in my experience. The new blizzard launcher helps out a great deal as well.

Just got out of my first dungeon, Wailing Caverns to be precise. Fun times.
WC is the most boring dungeon in the game
I bought him original wow, he's going to buy a battle chest (it's only £7.50 on amazon and heck less than a £1 difference and an extra cd key for original wow can't be turned down) when we get to 58 and all of the other expansions himself. We're having a good time.
I've just got a small predicament, I've got a Priest at the same level as the Mage I started with him today. Should I stick with the mage that's currently doing 60-70dps in dungeons or go with my Shadow/Disc Priest that will keep us both alive all of the time but only do 50-60dps? I'm having fun playing both but I want to know which will be the most practical at level 85. I'm guessing the Priest because I can go Holy/Disc for healing.
Second question, his account has been upgraded to Classic WoW, he can level past 20 - but we can't trade and he can't use the auction house. I remember reading that it takes 72 hours to fix this. Does it really take this long? I'm sure this happened to somebody else on here once, wasn't it JerryK?

You have to wait out the entire duration of the trial before he can trade and such. It's stupid.
Also, just take what class you want to play more, not what's more "practical".

In all seriousness, why's that? Okay, we got lost for a bit because the one person who knew their way around left but still, I liked it.
Also, gonna love 4.0.6, hunters are getting some nice buffs.

except that from what I've heard hunters are getting their primary DPS abilities nerfed to the ground.

no we're getting buffed last time i checked
Blizzard have said Survival DPS is too good, I would be shocked if they buffed it.
I expect nerfs to survival and buffs to Marks/BM to make it attractive to play them.
