this is just something that had occurred to me to try and do and it worked.
I both love and hate the fact that Heroic Deadmines uses models from Normal Deadmines. I love it because it makes me feel a bit nostalgic, I hate it because using the [url=http://www.wowhead.com/item=65165]Foe Reaper[/url] makes me look like a level 16.
Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep, Stonecore and Vortex Pinnacle all cleared on HC.
Stonecore is made stupidly hard if you've got bad players in the group.
New Deadmines is the best instance I've ever done fullstop. I really hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did (if you've not done it yet)
I wanted to link the armory, I got 2 1H for my Gnum, Buzzsaw and Smite's Reaver. I'm churning out 40 - 45k Obliterates with 333 gs at the moment, shit is so cash.

Been playing pretty hard the last 2 days. Druid is halfway through 82, Warlock is 2 bars from 84. Initial thoughts:
Vash'jir is awful, Hyjal is great. Vash feels like a TBC zone; going from hub to hub with a light sprinkling of story and one interesting quest in 20 "Kill 20 of these and gather there things". Hyjal was one quest after another with interesting characters and stories, and an overall objective that takes you from beginning to end.
Archaelogy is fun, even addictive. It is sobering to know that your chances of getting something more than vendor loot is quite low, but it's almost a game within a game hunting for artifacts. Also nice lore bits as well.
Normal dungeons are pretty easy. I have done Vortex/Stonecore/Throne of Tides several times and only wiped once. From what I hear heroics are hard as shit though.
Made my goblin character, got to Lost Isles, lost all motivation to keep playing. I dunno if it was because I watched videos about the quest from start to finish, or because someone in my guild also made a warrior, but I just can't bring myself to play him anymore.
Finally finished Deadmines, despite the wiping that was some of the most fun I've ever had in an instance. The Vanessa VanCleef event is awesome.

i realize i may have not been clear, it was clearly a dps weapon, and the tank thought it was okay to take because it had mastery
I just sold 16 stacks of Elementium. People are super undercutting it though, and I'm even being undercut at 6g a unit

level 82 and a half, but not going to deepholm quite yet, i got 20,000 leagues under the sea, but there's a couple of bugged quests in my log that i'm gonna see if they work after the servers restart in like an hour

dk's use 2h dps weapons, this isn't really new.
I just need 7 more avarge item level to enter the heroics. I have to check the cataclysm faction quartermasters for some item upgrades.

dk tanks can use 2h dps weapons to tank with, especially now that mastery is involved. sure you may find a couple with parry or dodge on them, but the main thing that makes it work as a tank weapon is the rune that is put on it, and now mastery. Find me a "true" 2 handed tank weapon, one with blue sockets, dodge and parry, the works on it please, because I really don't think i've EVER seen one.
