blah blah blah...Tanks should wait while healers drink
I agree, but we healers have to take a little responsibility for letting the group know when we need to drink. Blizz included the /oom emote for a reason. I have a macro set up so one button does a /oom, yells that I need mana, and starts drinking. Very useful.
I see more bad death knights than any other class. I've never seen a deathknight top damage meters.
I used to top damage meters, now Im a tank
I still get pretty close to topping
sometimes when i sign as tank
and i get this shit boring instance
i act like an idiot and dont hold aggro fo shit
then they kick me and a queue for a new one :v:
my main is a healer, i like to think i am not a bad healer managing to help in getting realm firsts and shit, it can get difficult when tanks insist on running ahead without any regard for a healers mana. in difficult dungeons, this could end up with a wipe if it got really out of hand despite a tank being in great gear.
in my case when i levelled a tank, i didn't rush ahead and took the time to keep an eye on both the mana and health of the rest of the group. it didn't take much time and was certainly quicker than rushing in and wiping. even showing this simplest of courtesy towards the rest of the group ended up in good groups who wanted to carry on together.
i will never to this day understand the mentality of rushing in like a fucking faggot pulling shit when people clearly aren't ready. we all had a much more enjoyable time looking out for each other, i was getting healed well, the healer was happy because i was looking out for him understanding how frustrating a tank rushing ahead can be and the DPS enjoyed the fact they are lazy fucks in the first place and didn't have to corpse run

tldr; tanks rushing ahead are fucking stupid, they should play a healer first and learn how annoying it can be, maybe then everyone could have a nicer time and people could learn to love and we can live in happiness!!!!!
i did this once... then the healer whined at me for taking too long to pull even though he was still drinking :(
guys i rated chirno dumb lol...
Ontopic: Almost done Winter shit, aw yeah.
I always wait for my healer, but usually a hunter just ends up pulling

If it takes an emote and your character shouting, the tank is not doing his job. If the tank is worth anything he will already be aware you need to drink just as he leaves combat, if not sooner. Even then, the simplest of communication between tank and healer goes miles, bluetooth and myself being a prime example. we destroyed shit together simply because we looked out for each other and let each other know about shit happening, compensating for any mistakes either one of us might have made and if every tank and healer looked out for each other, shit would be a lot easier.

Every time.
Really hating thise tanks that just rush without letting the healer drink. After few wipes the group breaks and I have to wait ~45 minutes to get into another dungeon group because I'm a rogue...

Its not Wotlk anymore, people will learn.
As a tank, I'll rush the healer unless he's low on mana.
[editline]17th December 2010[/editline]
As a healer, I don't give a fuck if he pulls more

Good for you.
It's a shame you're probably not in my battlegroup.
Tbh if a tank pulls more mobs while I'm taking a mana break, on his own head be it. I always announce I'm taking one and if he pulls before I finish then he can just die.
ITT: Rant about oblivious tanks.
Just installed it again and I'm trying out the trial and holy shit nothing makes sense anymore
I should just level a new character or some shit
god fucking damnit........
i accidentally unlearned mining tonight instead of JC which I was trying to unlearn..................
Put a ticket in, they should restore it.
Should be easy to restore. It's just a gathering profession.
FINALLY 80 on my warrior, time to move on to the cata zones!
Anyone got a good guide to bear tanking? I'm tempted to replace my moonkin spec with a feral tank spec so I can tank or heal.
Another point concerning heroics. Please eat up to 100% yourself, mana is precious and its annoying to hell when dps stand there before a boss waiting for the healer.

This.
I can't even count how many times I've sat down to eat in heroic Halls of Origination on that first group, only to have the tank stand around going "We pull when healer heals me full ok?"
if im sat at around 80% health and the healer is eating, I just rune tap
its a pretty awesome tool to have for saving mana, too
As much as it pains me to say, Death Knight tanks are by far my favourite to have in a heroic lately.
keep forgetting to post this, but I made myself temporarily rich on elementium so

Joined a heroic, 4 people from the same realm, 2 of them are coaching 1 on how to play, while in Org getting him glyphs. Every time I ask them to hurry up I get told to fuck off and called a n*gger...

My first 80 was a hunter, second was a disc/shadow priest (primarily disc), then a Frost DK (when frost could tank, it's been blood since late june), then my rogue, and now another priest, who is solely disc/holy. My warrior is on it's way at 70.
So i can understand when healers and tanks get pissy at bad DPS, and when healers get pissy at overconfident (read: bad) tanks.
After doing Azshara and (most) of Twilight Highlands, I can come to a conclusion:
Gob squad = best squad
Just started playing this game again and I'm loving it.
Re-Rolled a Worgen hunter and I love lvl 1 pets and no ammo :buddy:
