jesus i think im going to give up leveling my rogue, hes at level 45 and i fucking hate questing now, i wish i could level in the old zones, leveling feels like its going so slow cause its goddamn boring, at least it was fun before

one thing i fucking love about tanaris is when im killing fucking pirates, then one of them RUNS AWAY IN FEAR and fucking runs and aggros 10 goddamn more pirates then i am being attacked by 10 fucking pirates, and then i realize my vanish is on cd and i can't fucking do shit to escape so i die and have to walk 10 goddamn miles back to my fucking corpse
I wish I could respec to prot, ret is a tad boring.
But I can't get any gear because no one will do heroics with me.

Get Assassination and use Mutilate or however that shit´s called.
Sub will work very well for a while, as ambush does mad fine damage. And since you get shadowstep and ambush together at a very low level, the two work pretty well in order to go through quests. And PvP for that matter. And while it does less damage as you gain more levels, I don't see any other spec being as viable. My rogue is only 14 though, so I wouldn't know everything.
I'd say when you hit the point where you're just standing toe to toe with a mob is when to switch to Assassination. Though I agree that Rogue is pretty boring to level, I done the grant a level thing for mine and then bought some appropriate gear for level 50.
I just want to get to northrend. Oh how I loved questing in northrend :(
