And it couldn't last more than that because I'm going to have the full game on September 22nd.

i wait till open beta or I get a closed beta key, or wait for a trail to be released. If the game looks good enough for me, I might as well purchase the game and subscription card to play this game.

Man..I hope the beta proves to be fun because I doubt I can afford any other game for awhile if I get this. Benji, I want more info! Details on the professions like blacksmithing and stuff. How is the combat, is it turn-based so like You hit first, then I heal, then someone else hits and so on?

Not at all, play the game in a week or so. It's way, way faster than FFXI so don't expect that when you play.

There's literally too much for me to sit here and type out..the game should be good by the open beta phase when they release another big patch. Bit buggy right now but it's a beta so that's pretty much expected.

Personally, I'm just going to wait until the game launches before I play. You don't get many opportunities to experience an MMO for the first time, let alone how empty the game will be when the CE launches.

I would like to figure out crafting and all first but hey, I'm actually struggling for once in an mmo :iia: Not sure where to start for crafting etc... Got the gathering sorted now though, not a click and instant ore either for a change. Main gripe for me right now is that the interface is rather bad.

They said in recent interviews this week that the bugs are gonna be fixed for release. The open beta is launching here soon and it's gonna be a big version update between what we're playing right now and what everyone else is going to play when that rolls around.

Not really too worried about it. There's only a couple hundred on my current beta server and there's always enough people around to do stuff with.

I don't suppose FFXIV will be available on Steam will it?

It's not there for pre-order right now. Maybe sometime after release?

Can't wait for the open beta. I'm going to look at it as sort of a trial. If I like it, I'll buy the game. I really hope I do like it, because it's so pretty.

Just read about the fatigue system and it looks pretty retarded, how does it help people who don't have much time to play? It doesn't help them at all. 7$ a month ain't bad at all.
